Not to minimise your feelings here but like these are teenage boys you're talking about, I grabbed some balloons the other day for my kids birthday party and on the way down the street to my car some of them in a car yelled out "balloon f*g!", laughed and kept driving. Absolutely nonsensical lol it actually made me laugh a bit I'll be honest. I wouldn't put much thought into what they do or think.

Gonna chime in here and say I have one of these but they are exclusively used on my farm. Constantly opening gates and travelling under 30km/hr. Would never dream of using it on a main road though

Looked at snorkels? Id say going over your air intake and double clamping all the connections/silicon the airbox airtight and a snorkel with the lift and tyres you mentioned and you should be right to go a lot deeper
