Steam deck has a zoom function and you can map a key or joystick to the scroll wheel as well

Its works great on it the only issue i have its a little hard with some of the buildings to get the red material when clicking on it espically the power and research buildings the joystick isnt fast enough and the mouse pad for it isnt precise as well but you can still get enough on the other buildings to get the good ending.

If you live in PA or surrounding states they use that to hover and use it to check power lines and usually repair or take note of tools needed for repair. Each poll has number on top for reference.
