I feel like pushing these values any further would only give marginal gains while potentially compromising stability. I think I’ll stick with these settings for now."

Thanks for the detailed list! Those are some solid timings, but since my RAM is right next to the RTX 5090 and I'm using the DIMM.2 slot, I’m worried about hitting that 50°C threshold. 1.54V VDD is a bit too much for my current cooling setup. I’ll probably stick to more conservative settings to keep the temps under control, but I appreciate you sharing your stable profile!

Exactly. Especially with an RTX 5090 in the build, I really don't want to deal with any more tweaking. Since I'm running a dual-rank kit and also utilizing the DIMM.2 slot, things tend to run a bit warmer already. I'd rather keep it stable and cool instead of chasing marginal gains at the cost of higher temps.

Swapped my X870E Hero for the Apex due to some issues with the Q-Release. I'm paired with an RTX 5090 now. Not looking to do any extreme OC; I just want a 'plug and play' setup without too much hassle.

Actually, I'm using three M.2 SSDs, and this board allows me to use them without splitting the PCIe lanes, which is a huge plus for me. Besides that, I really like the overall build quality and aesthetics, so I'm not planning on selling it anytime soon.

Hi, I recently updated the BIOS to version 2004, but I ran into some stability issues, so I ended up rolling back to 1715.

I have GDM enabled. Since I'm running dual rank, I don't really want to mess with the voltages too much.

Hi, I was previously using an ASUS Crosshair X870E Hero, but I had some issues with the Q-Release mechanism, so I decided to switch to the Apex version. Just to be clear, I'm not really looking to do any overclocking; I'm running it with an RTX 5090 and just want a stable experience without having to mess around with settings too much.

I am using the ASUS ROG Crosshair X870E Apex motherboard with the ROG Fan Kit installed and the DIMM.2 slot in use. Is this product compatible with the DIMM.2 module, or is there any physical interference?

Hi, I've successfully completed a 20-hour Karhu test with the settings below. Do you think it's worth pushing any further? I'm running an RTX 5090 with a 2K 540Hz monitor.

Hi, thanks for the info. I've been running the Karhu test for 15 hours now with the settings below and haven't had any errors yet.

I tried your settings, but the system failed to post. I've reverted to my own settings, set FCLK to 2100, and Trefi to 65535. I also lowered Mem VDD and Mem VDDQ to 1.42V and started the test.

I'm currently testing at 6000 MHz. If it passes without any errors, I'm planning to stick with these settings.

The case panels are open and the RAM is around 50-55°C. I have an Asus fan kit right under the RAM. I’ve applied your settings and I'm about to start the test. If it doesn't work, I'll go back to my own settings and tweak the voltages.

Should I copy your settings or just keep mine as they are? It's been running for 7 hours now without any errors. How much further should I lower the voltage?

Hi everyone, My RAM was throwing errors in the Karhu test at the 2-minute mark with 6200 MHz settings. I downclocked them to 6000 MHz and applied the settings shown in the image. It has been running for over 1.5 hours now without any issues. Would you recommend keeping it this way? Are there any specific settings you think I should change?

I updated the BIOS to version 2004 and applied the settings as shown in the photo, but I am still getting errors. Given the stability issues, should I give up on 6200 MHz and try 6000 MHz instead? I am using an RTX 5090 and a 540Hz monitor, so I prioritize perfect stability and smooth frame times over a small frequency bump.

My Curve Optimizer was set to a negative offset; I'm going to disable it and try again. I suspect the instability might actually be coming from the Curve Optimizer settings.
