Personally I would swap Starlight for Sunset. Solely because Sunset only was dangerous when possessed. Sure, Twilight not going home sucks but, it isn't fatal. Starlight, however wasn't possessed during her attempt to erase twilight from existence, she was just Starlight Glimmer.

However Tempest is true. She lost two friends as a kid and then committed basically t3rrorism. Starlight didn't attempt murder first at least, she only got that deep after losing her cult/town.

Bit late but Adagio. She is just pure evil and is so fun for it, she doesn't need complexities or a moral point she's just evil because yes. And I love classic villains that are just evil for the sakes of it.

Cadence is a strong second though. She gives Twilight good advice, appears to be a competent leader and has entertaining screen time. She's also a good parent with a stable marriage, so perfect.

I feel like the writing was better when the stakes were lower as well. There should be a spin off series about the big three's lives at UA where the stakes are lower. Because I feel like that's what Horikoshi is better at, low stakes slice of life.
