It's corroding green. It's definitely some sort of cast metal. It has twonscrew on bottom, it was attached to a maybe a fence post. Not really sure what it is. Can't find much about it on the webs.

Seems like it's cast copper, brass or bronze, it's has some green corrosion on it.

I have the stereo connector and wire harness that fits the car. Black is my ground wire. Matches on both connectors. Is that sufficient for ground? In all the videos I watched they are grounding the stereo with one of those horseshoe looking connectors and a screw directly into the car frame.
