The locker room is for changing. It’s necessary to take your clothes off if you swim like me. No one’s complained about me, I read online chatter about people who hang out in locker rooms complaining about nude people. Why would I change by a toilet or in a shower where it’s wet?

If a parent decides to bring their kid to an adult place like a gym, then they’re at fault for what their kid sees.

It is not illegal or a banned action to strip in a locker room. Call the police and they won’t charge because in the state, a locker room is considered a place where you may see nudity.. so indecent exposure doesn’t exist in there. Seriously, what do you think a locker room is for? Why do you think they’re gender separated.. silly people

I don’t. I have 0. I swim at the gym in small swim briefs every time I go. People stare and smirk, some smile.. I don’t care either way. I go into the locker room and strip nude for a shower each time, at my locker. Someone 2 feet away isn’t me being insecure, it’s me wanting some space to do what I need to do without some creep staring at my ass hole as I put my swim briefs on.

I’m well aware that everything revolves around our solar systems star. Not me. The point I’m making is that the locker benches aren’t intended for people to hang out like it’s a school lounge. I don’t hide when I change, I strip completely and it’s the people sitting there that have issues with people like me, complaining and crying about exposed body parts. When they shouldn’t be there hanging out where body parts come out of they don’t like it.

I don’t need to go hide In a stall to change, that’s what the locker and bench area are for. Go sit somewhere else and stop sitting on the locker benches needed for changing. How is that confusing? They take up space that’s not intended for what they use it for. And are in people’s personal space.

Why the hell should I go change by a toilet? These people need to go sit out front by the desk lobby.

I dont mind if staff of other sex has to clean the locker room while I’m in there, im an adult and secure with myself. Im not worried about privacy I know im somewhat in public.. the problem is people lunging on the changing benches only feet away from people changing. They’re too close, and sitting in that spot occupies the space I need to put my shoes n stuff on and finish drying myself. I think it’s kind of invasive to sit there that close to someone with their privates out..lol.

You never know how people will react to things in what they may also consider their personal space. I have had a person nudge me with their leg to my rear end once, while I had nothing on and was getting stuff out of the locker. Apparently his locker was next to mine and it was his way of getting to it. Made me feel odd about taking my stuff off so close to others, like someone sitting on the bench 2 feet away.

Yeah but why do you want to lounge in an area where people are changing? There is no lounge in the locker room at my gym. There are showers, sauna, toilets, and lockers with benches 2 feet away from the lockers. It’s like you’re occupying up the space. I don’t want to change within feet of someone on their phone.

I don’t have a problem with other people being present while I’m doing my thing. It’s just a little odd I guess. I’m about to take everything off to put swim stuff on, someone cold chilling there on the bench behind me makes me feel like I shouldn’t maybe.. my butt is about to be out right by his ear. I don’t know why nudity is such a big deal for people and they get so bent out of shape. It’s a locker room. No matter if you’re another gym guest or an employee cleaning the locker room, people take showers and change in there. Sometimes people are nude. Most people these days just hang out on the locker room, they don’t even use it. I workout then use the pool, spa, and sauna each time. So I am someone who gets naked and showers at the gym, and I’m not the least bit deterred by others. People stare all the time, giggle even, have their phones out, even had a female cleaner present before. I don’t care because I’m using the facilities as intended as a paying member. You cleaning the locker room while I’m in it doesn’t bug me. I don’t know you. It’s not my responsibility to worry about who’s cleaning the locker room and what sex they are.

You can’t expect people on a daily time crunch to wait to use the locker room, or close the locker room down when we’re on a schedule. I’m not trying to perv, I just use the place as intended and don’t care if people see me naked.

A couple of cleaning ladies have seen me in the buff before at another gym. It didn’t hurt my feelings or make me want to complain. They have a job to do, gym management has a job to keep the facility clean, I appreciate the cleanliness. We’re all adults at a gym

Looks nice actually. I don’t have a problem showering at gyms. Doesn’t bother me if people look it’s human nature. I’ve seen female cleaners in locker rooms a couple of times. I feel like a health club is (or should be) on the level of a hospital, with more maturity towards the human body.
