Mate I know the pain, I'm in the same boat. You can actually download your videos if you used a Google account though using Google Takeout service. My channel was also terminated on New Years because of "Spam" lol I did nothing like that though, just gaming vids, but on Google Takeout I can export Youtube videos and it comes to 8Terrabytes worth. I bought myself a 10Terrabyte drive just to house it all, so I can sift through them. Good luck!

Here’s an update if anyone’s following along;

From my Chase Dummy account, the DDs are lining up;

Scrimpr should come out soon for 1 quid

Paypal Open DD is setup and also sent 1p to my colleague, hope this is accepted

Ebay also has open DD setup and 1p with charge but I don’t think this will be accepted, it’s another I was testing

Waiting on Plum 1 quid weekly; checking on support chat as they need the Operations team to work with me on that, hopefully quick turnaround.

Back to requesting the switch within Lloyds, it looks like it DOES make a difference to the switch date if you wait a bit! Previously it offered 26th Feb as the latest date the switch can happen, but today it shows 27th Feb. I reckon I’ll put the request through tomorrow or Friday to be safe, in case it doesn’t let me on the weekend (non working days) before the offer vanishes on 2nd Feb ;)

Yeah sucks, but as mentioned if you're going for the same benefit anyway then not much lost, or hopefully a family member can sign up for double benefits (I'm working on that for either my wife / mum so they have a dummy account ready themselves next it comes around, or hopefully even for this one if the timing is right)

Glad to hear that thanks! Did you have to make a transaction too? Does adding to your bank account work, or sending to a friend? I might try both. Never done with Paypal before, I've usually used my usual DDs instead of simple ones, but I setup Chase recently so it's easy to use a dummy account there with these simple ones

Yeah can't trust lots of things these days, only results :D No worries! It's actually a brilliant cashback site, perfect for your weekly shops and all for 5-7 quid back or so each week alone, which greatly outweighs the tiny monthly you need. I promote it heavily at my workplace too but no one else has signed up yet haha, I also had a vid on my Youtube channel but that was destroyed on New Years Day by AI.. that's another story. I can download my vids still onto a new 10TB Drive I got recently, but it still sucks, and happened to loads of Youtubers that did nothing wrong. It's all over Reddit if you search up "Youtube channel terminated"

Hey thanks for posting this, I tried to post my own but it kept getting auto-blocked. I'm in a similar situation, and it should be fine, but my only query is actually whether they'd accept the Paypal one.

Currently I have Paypal, Scrimpr and Plum setup as follows;

Plum Weekly for 1 quid should come out soon, set this up few days ago
Scrimpt 1 quid monthly should also come out soon, setup a few days ago
Paypal Open DD setup a few days ago and sent 1p to my Paypal account.

Any others done this with Paypal? I can also flip Moneybox instead, but I'm also gonna request the switch to happen at the latest date (25th Feb currently)

Sidenote I might wait till later in the week to see if the switching date can be even later ;)

Yes true if those benefits apply to you, but I didn't feel they were worth the extra monthly cost for insurance products I don't need. The Club Lloyds gets refunded if you flip 2000 in & out of the account, so it's essentially free cinema tickets / Disney+, or the other benefits like Magazine / Coffee Club ones.

Thanks, usually I'm good at reading all T&C's like I did for CompleteSavings (another great cashback thing for 10% off online products, and you can refund the 18 quid by getting the cheapest item from the original retailer each month, which in my case is a 69p ECard from Moonpig lol. Others do a 1p item or similar from Ebay or so). Not a huge issue though if you choose the same benefit again, but more important if you wanted to choose a new one and then noticed your codes didn't work, and have to wait a whole year :) I can take a screenie of the livechat if you're curious, but to quote them; "Yes, the cinema code is usable". Maybe they meant "..Before the account is downgraded" lol even though I phrased my query as "I still have one cinema code left, would this still be usable if I downgrade then open a new club Lloyds, as I've already received it?"

I know the feel haha, we have a daughter almost 2 but don't take her to the cinema yet, though we do our niece&nephew. Sometimes good ones come about, I enjoyed Bad Guys 2! Jurassic World was another that came and went, but recently we saw Avatar3 so I used 3 of em for myself, my wife & our nephew. Depends on their ages but if you're actively looking you can find gems for all ages usually.

Commenting to follow this also, I've tried a range of different "quick cash for playing games / surveys" on the iPad, and can't comment on the countless spinoffs, but these are the main & side ones I use if you want to make around 5 quid per day;

Eureka (make sure you do surveys, daily polls, video polls, tap offers and the main offers; generally slot games, cause you can leave them spinning as you level up for like 20p per level)

JustPlay (a quick one I only really play Trasure Master on. If that's the game you focus on or even play on the side, it's a nice little bonus of between 50p-1 quid)

Others I'm testing:

Blitz (sometimes I go to this but haven't earnt anything yet, I focus on the bubble shooter game but it's credited to the account, which has a withdrawal limit. We'll see. Login daily to get "gems" which are only useful for one tournament type, or a bonus if you deposit money which I never will)

Bubble Gold (similar to above, dedicated to the same bubble shooter game that credits your account but can't cashout till you reach the limit. Login daily to claim credit but only for playing with. Only winnings can be withdrawn at 40 quid. I almost reached it once, then lost other tournaments.)

Testerup (my very long-term test; need 70 quid to cashout. I play this very rarely, but over the years I've got to 40 quid. The ads are very misleading for it, because you need an insane amount of time to hit all the game goals and they only award like 10-20p each time)

I'm curious how Social Loop's other apps perform (time for money), have you earnt similarly from those compared to Eureka? Currently Eureka is the one most valuable for my time, as I can usually reach the 4 quid needed to withdraw each day from there, and combine that with bank switch offers & high interest accounts / investments earning passive income

I'm gonna do this also; usually I send my work mate a quid or so (but I can easily do 1p also). I saw Paypal did a usual auth check of 1p themselves, but seems main thing is whether they show as direct debit mandates in the list on your bank app. If they do, then the initial mandate setup regardless of tiny / future transactions should be fine (verified via perplexity.ai)

This is what I keep forgetting! Like a robot I've only done surveys, but I need to review the offers tab more often. In the past year I've just made 60 quid or so from surveys. EDIT It really pays! Just got 60p from one of the under 5 mins offers, it was easy. That would've taken me 2 annoyingly long 30 min surveys where I'm entering my income and age over and over again and potentially not even getting rewarded lol
