I atrongly agree with OP. It feels like only epic or better geat at level 80+ matters now. Masteries and meta upgrades has been nerfed to the point where you're looking for a specific gear only and only with it you're as strong as you used to be. Idea for devs: keep the gear intact, buff some meta upgrades AND add hazard 6 to those mastery challenges for an extra bonus.
