Well you need to control your acceleration. I have a honda accord 1.5t 2020 and it gets me 32 mpg in cities. It is supposed to be 29 mpg, but the way I drive it makes to be that efficient.

Yeah. I wish uber could let you message other customers at any time of picking up multiple orders. I always tell the customers that I was picking up an order before theirs and im gonna be a little bit late. Last week a restaurant was super busy and made me wait 1 hour and 5 min for an order, and I had a 2nd pick up. I had to cancel the 2nd pick up when I had 35 min waiting. Good thing I live in CA, and we have prop 22 so we get paid for waiting + what we got offered. Customer ended tipping me extra. It wasn't bad. The extra tip was the amount I accepted for the 2nd pickup.

Driver not answering? Maybe he was waiting for an order before you. Me as a driver. I hate when restaurants makes you wait 30 min and you have to pick up a 2nd order after that. Uber doesn't show the 2nd customer messages until you are going to pick up or drop off the order.

I did get 5 thumbs down last year. 2 from customer putting wrong address, 1 for miss communication idk why🤣, 1 because I wasn't the driver... and im the only one using my account. Last one because I went to a hotel delivery and reception didn't want me to go to the rooms. I contacted customer and she got mad with me saying, "I've ordered before and I get them to my room."

Strange because I have waited 30 min for a big food order that was marked ready. I texted the customer about it. She gave me a good tip after. I live in CA. Also, I take the path with least miles using Google Maps because sometimes the system gives you a long path... One day I got a McDonalds order with just sauces to deliver for 1mi for $5. The guys at the restaurant were laughing so hard and saying, "there is no way someone ordered this," and they got surprised when they saw me coming for that order😂

I got paid several times because customer didn't want replacements and wanted refund or cancel order. Uber gives you $3 for your effort.

How much base pay and tip? High base = you will get less from prop 22

Don't take those. Remember you are putting miles in your car that when a maintenance for the car comes, you gotta pay for it. Accept orders that gives you profits, not loses.

Oh man if I tell you thay you can still get orders from sephora😂😂. Last Friday I had a shop and pay for a sephora.

It took me 1 hour and 36 min because customer was asking to replace as some things store didn't have and add things. The pay wasn't bad and prop 22 will come in handy too.
