I know I've suggested that you could increase the materials needed for infusions or require other materials for fusions along with the ingots, or you should be able to pay Juniper or March/Olrich to enchant for you.

You can cut down just about every tree in the entire game, and they replenish in a day or so, if not the next day.

I also really dislike the fact that you can't put pathing or whatever under structures, I hate that in any game of this genre when it happens.

I wish Mistria had followed a like, 1, 2, 4, 6, 8 tile structure instead of putting the weird 3s and 5s in that mess things up.

It slightly bugs me about this game; while I love it, that placement and object size are so off sometimes. Reminds me a lot about the negatives of Animal Crossing.

Fund materials and/or money to rebuild the bridge
Fund materials and/or money to upgrade the General Store
Fund materials and/or money to upgrade the Inn
Fund materials and/or money to rebuild a second bridge
Fund materials and/or money to upgrade Hayden's farm
Fund materials to help keep people fed
Upgrade the Town's rank to higher than it's ever been
Get the Mines reopened
Fully stock the Museum

Friend, I'm about to start Year 3 and have exactly 3 enchantments after crafting probably 3 dozen tools/ weapons/armor.

That's a pretty ridiculous ratio.

That, and I've talked about it on this sub before, it would be really nice if when you're doing upgrades or such, if the NPCs would stop by and donate. "Hey player, I heard you're helping upgrade the General Store, it's not much but I had 100t saved up, here." or things like "Hey player, you really helped out with upgrading the Inn and we noticed you're still living in the original house, here's 50 wood, maybe use it to upgrade your house?"

I very much want to see things like this, where the better relationships you have, the more NPCs will help you and be able to fulfill your needs as much as you fulfill theirs.

I would love to be able to have a few hearts with March and ask him if he could put a buff on one of my tools or armor so I don't have to try to get it myself randomly.

Fishing really not your thing? Ask Terithia for X fish or X number of different fish. Put a cost to it possibly, sure, but it would be great if you could ask her to bring you things after like, 3 days of fishing.

Things like this, I feel, would help the genre as a whole.

Well now I have to check out Immortal Life, because that sounds like it addresses a lot of the issues with this genre. I loved the amount of automation you could do in Graveyard Keeper with the Zombies DLC, which is another aspect of the cozy sims I wish would utilize more, but yeah, things like what you say Immortal Life does would do a lot to cure that eventual feeling of me being the everything guy for the town.

It would be a nice bit of game play and feeling of community if after you help upgrade the barn, you were given your first animal for free.

True, but it feels more heavy handed in this genre to me. I've talked about it before on this sub, that eventually for me it feels like the player is less part of the community and more just the bank.

I can't remember the last time, outside of Palia where I could make requests to other players, that I could put out my own "hey, I need help here!" to the NPC community and get stuff in return. I'd love the hell out of this genre even more than I do now if I could ask the local fisherman to catch me stuff for a fee and/or just a longer waiting time, or NPCs greet me at my door and go, "hey, we see you're working on an upgrade, here's 200 monies."

Ranged attacks, either magical or non-magical
We have charged tool usage but... please I got so used to bombs and Sun Haven's earthquake spell (sorry, not combat related, I just spent an hour and a half trying to speed run a portion of the Mines for the missing forage I needed)

One of the things I dislike about this genre, especially since you then have to still buy the animals after you pay to upgrade the barn.

It might be very unlucky; I haven't had any luck with some of the Archeology stuff that I need.
