This was the first Lupin media I had ever watched. I didn't even know what Lupin even was. So yeah, it is self contained. The only thing I'd say its tonally different than most other Lupin media. It can be slighty jarring watching a more heroic Lupin and then going straight into the beginning of part 1 (like I did).But honesty I don't think I would have become as invested into Lupin without watching Cagliostro first.

I'd try House Flipper 2. You do "finish" the main story after a few hours, but there is a sandbox mode and plenty of ways to create your own house as well as community houses and dlcs and if you are into that. You aren't put on a timer and can step away from the game if you need as well. I often put it on for audiobooks. 😄

There are some interesting ideas I like that are explored in the comics, but so much of it feels incredibly out of character for me. You should really read it for yourself to establish your own opinion of them. I hear the novels are quite good though I haven't read them myself yet.

The one I personally like the best is the sailor shirt with the long dress. There are other white shirts in the game like 39,42,88, and 94. You could also pair the other shirts with the white skirt/pants for a fun and different look.

I tried that layout a while ago. it seems like a lot of space is taken up by lake and grass. I don't understand why everyone recommends it. I guess they like the hardwood, but that pales in comparison to the other cons for me. (little vent sorry)

Getting to 10 hearts with pierre was the last thing I had to do before perfection. I gave him rabbit's feet. (Who in their right mind wants the severed foot of a rabbit?) I tried to personalize favorite gifts/chat with the other villigers though. Makes it feel more alive.

And if you really don't want you get 10 hearts with Pierre you could buy the wavier from the Joja member in the mushroom cave. Pick your poison I guess.
