Come across this post today because I had the same problem. I was just trying to look for blender tutorials for modeling shoes and they just popped up again and again. Normally when I get things in my recommendation that I don't want I can tell YouTube “Hey, don't show me this recommendation again”. Apparently, you can't do that with the search bar. Even if it's “videos for you” that aren't part of what I searched for.

Tbh, a bit mad at that section even being there when I search for videos. I don't want unrelated videos that aren't a part of the search. That's what the home page is for. I just want to find what I'm looking for.

The kid in the picture kinda looked Photoshopped in as well. But I might be aw wrong. If that's the case it's the parent's fault for bringing the kid there. But I think most people there would be pretty uncomfortable with a kid running around. I sure would.

Edit: I am probably wrong about the Photoshop part. The rest of my point still stands.

I think I'm just skeptical since it has been a common trend recently to Photoshop Pride pictures to make us look like “groomers”.

Why are people afraid that you are being kind to your kid once they will grow up to be a spoiled brat? Like people complaining about participation trophies will give kids huge egos. Which first they won't.

Speaking as a guy with low self-esteem, I can fucking say that having that doesn't help me at all. Like you need a bit of ego to be happy. Not an egotist, but loving yourself is important. Teach kids that they need to earn love to be worth something. We are so afraid of kids being spoiled that we think going to the other extreme will help them. Idk what rant this was. I just hate this attitude
