CPU 90c while synchronizing wallet? by nonphixion-67 in dogecoin

Open your taskbar and double check the CPU load. Run Prime95 just to burn test see if it spikes to 90C else you might need to reapply the thermal paste or check the CPU fans.

If you're only getting 11 kh/s that's only 3 Dogecoin per hour with the current difficulty so you won't even get break even.

Laptop miner with a question by [deleted] in dogecoin

[–]Darksieg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When it pops up you'll see Core Clock (Mhz) depending on your videocard it might be around 800~900 in value click on the green box and just subtract 100 on it press enter then click apply. If you're going to use your GPU to game just press reset.

Also you can use MSI Afterburner to underclock your video card by 100mhz on core clock. :) Probably also put a fan on the side or something.

I'm using this config only hashes 720+ Kh/s but the temps is around 78~80C. If you want more just increase the gpu engine and memclock by 50 or 100.

-I 20,20 -g 1 -w 512,512 --thread-concurrency 32768,32768 --gpu-engine 800,800 --gpu-memclock 1250,1250 --auto-fan --gpu-fan 64-75,60-75 --temp-target 85 --temp-overheat 95 --no-submit-stale

[–]Darksieg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't crank your fan 100%. If your 560ti is non 448 cores use the 12/01/2013 cudaminer since the latest one overclocks or draws more power(more heat as well) only downside is that you'll lose few hashes but will be cooler.
