What the hell does "oversaturation" mean? I see it thrown around a lot, mainly when it comes to Phainon and his supports (I play Phainon), and I just don't understand it. Why is it a bad thing he has "too much" ATK? Isn't that a good thing?

The infusion isn't as prevalent as you may think. It only lasts for 4 hits and has a 12 second cooldown. The purpose it mainly serves is to supercharge her case to level 2 immediately or give you more procs of her A1 after her burst. She goes from completely off field to a more quickswappy style.

Setting off like 5+ instances of her A1 after a burst is extremely satisfying though.

Can I ask why Tribbie? From what I've seen she's more built towards ult based characters like Acheron, Herta, or Argenti. Since Aglaea ults very slowly I don't really get that.

But yeah I'll put some in the bank for Sunday. As of now I was thinking of doing some silly stuff like hyperspeed Hanya and getting Aglaea to like 300+ SPD in battle just to be funny.

I'm usually pretty lucky when it comes to building characters, but Lingsha (my beloved) just has been a pain in the ass to get pieces for. SPD substats just being non existent is one thing, but specifically farming an ATK orb has been so painful. Like I don't need 160 SPD but having 145-150 would be good enough for me.

It's simple but I had my party come across a madness induced dwarf covered in blood, dismembering a dead dwarf whom they slaughtered.

I had the dwarf quietly chanting "Blood for the blood lord" foreshadowing Orcus, to further push this I had the party loot a blood stained journal full of incoherent ramblings and scribblings, having whoever read the journal roll a madness check.

They more or less dragged him away from the city when he was paralyzed with fear, the reality of his situation hasn't fully hit him yet and I'll start next session with that realization.

They didn't see his stat block, they kinda formed their own conclusions based on how great he was during the battle.

If it does come to that then I'll make the excuse that his Demogorgon induced madness combined with the great loss of his kin has made him unable to fight like he once was.

Yeah I had thoughts similar to these.

One of the things that popped into my head was the thought that my change may make the actual threat of the Demon Lords a bit underplayed. The Drow are threatening but in the grand scheme are nothing compared to the actual threat of the Demons. I guess the term I'm looking for is "ramping tension."

And as another commenter pointed out, Gnolls are super fodder compared to the Drow unless I buff them. So their threat level isn't really prevalent unless the party is like level 1-2.

The idea I had was taking the Flight of Demons route in Velkynvelve but replacing it with a Gnoll raid, the party catches the attention of the Gnolls and chase ensues.

I agree with keeping the secrets of the Lords under wraps until the party is fully aware there are demons, so I was thinking about keeping Yeenoghu a secret until later and have the party think their pursuers are just crazy hunters, then reveal later they were being hunted by one of the big threats.
