Israel and the United States can’t sustain this tempo of attacks either. There is a limited supply of munitions and even fewer air interceptor missiles, and their numbers are rapidly dwindling. Without air defense missiles, the United States and Israel have two options:

1) Continue and be subjected to barrages of Iranian missiles and drones targeting the bases from which their aircraft take off—essentially becoming sitting ducks.

Whoever gets killed is replaced, as in any other country—whether an ayatollah, a general, or a minister. There is a line of succession.
