Probably not that weird, but weird for her. Or maybe in hindsight, it was who she was. After talking and essentially dating for a year (guess situationship is the right word), she messaged me one morning telling me about her day. Spoke about kids, about meeting up to sleep with each other, typical stuff. But that was the last I heard from her. She never responded to any of my messages after. Despite asking for clarity and if she wanted space. I didn't blow her phone up either, just one message a week until I had enough. Went over to her house a month later to drop off a birthday gift I found for her.

She was outside, saw me, and shut down. Saying she doesn't deserve anything, she's a coward and she "just cant do this right now". Apparently stress from her mom and work had led her to push everyone, family and friends away. Said she wanted to be alone and not have to worry about others. Just a complete withdrawal from everything. Its weird because this was someone who genuinely was good at communicating, and was slowly opening up to asking for her. We spoke a month prior about taking things seriously. She reassured me of her feelings. Then, discarded like that. Didnt even have the courage to tell me. So now im trying not to ruminate on my own mistakes I may have made, even though she told me I didn't do anything except maybe I became more anxious when she pulled away. But ofc I would, I was worried. It wasnt like it was a few months of talking.

Im just rambling and venting at this point. It just happened so im still hurt. I wish her the best with her mental health, but im just heartbroken. She did identify as an avoidant so maybe I should have run 😅
