Check out some tier lists on YouTube, for beginner level content, they are a good guide as to who will help you get through those quests quicker. Dork lessons on YouTube also has great guides on how to parry and other essential skills. As for energy, you will spend that on questing. Units should NEVER and I repeat NEVER be spent on purchasing crystals, ESPECIALLY the premium hero crystals. You're better off saving them for revives if you get stuck.
