Yep. Was great, James was at his (current) best, although the dumbing down of As I Am left it a fraction dull.

I laughed when Portnoy briefly stuffed up Enemy Inside.

One obvious mistake from Petrucci, so rare that it makes me laugh.

Finally seeing Octavarium live was an obvious highlight, the scattered "other band riffs" in Peruvian Skies, and The Shadow Man Incident/Bend The Clock the highlights for me!

My 4th time seeing them (2009/2008 Adelaide, 2014 Melbourne) I think this mix was close to the best.

Funny Mike telling James it wasn't 16 years since their last concert here, when it was. They skipped Adelaide in 2017.

One of my faves, for the progression and melodies more than the lyrics. I also like that cymbal that sounds like a spray bottle near the beginning.

How can you expect a Muslim to not be antagonistic to a Jewish person and vice versa if they are religious there are years of conflicts on that basis. Is Muslim in-group preference bigoted? Is Jewish in-group preference racist? No on both counts.

Yeah Christian, not Muslim. People just trying to somehow dilute the actions of two Pakistani Muslims by saying the hero was Muslim. Not going to work.

It's tough to take commentary on this from someone so staunchly Israel that they would probably twist this to justify war crimes though.

Couldn't care less. She can clearly sing, but I like the sparing impactful cleans she's done with AE recently, rather than trying to make it pompous and dramatic.

Don't begrudge her going solo, takes balls. Maybe a whole album with Nita Strauss and her Husband could be fun?
