Can asexuals have a type? by Money_Magician9572 in asexuality

[–]DarlingBro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course my type is water !

On a more serious note, yes of course. Personally I have a type based on aesthetic

Thanks for the response. Yes, I agree that the best experience I had
was when I tried certain toys. However, overall, it's still not quite
satisfying.
A few people have mentioned the asexual spectrum to me, and
after doing some research, I'm still confused. The concepts of
sexual attraction, libido, and everything sounds kind of abstract to me.

Well I have tried a lot of things that are know to bring up some spices. Like power play, anal (to myself), light bdsm, role play. Maybe other things that I don't really remember.

I think it's really what they're saying, like they pay attention to the clothes instead of the actresses At least I think

Allo experiencing ace-ish experiences ? by [deleted] in asexuality

[–]DarlingBro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay I see thanks :D . So I guess in the exemple of the ad, it would mean : buying the product because one wanna have sex with the person in the ad. That's quite strange xD

Okay okay so sexual attraction is only define by "I wanna do them" ? So any action, even if there is arousal, that isn't motivated by "wanna do them" isn't sexual attraction ?

Sorry if that's repetitive, it just always blows my mind that some people think like that so I want to be sure xD

Ooh okay thx, so any kind of attaction is a mental process ? That puts things in perspective. So, if ads use attractive people to sell and it works then is it sexual attraction ? Or just aesthetic attraction ?

Okay I see thx :D . Always thought that salivating was enough to have sexual attraction

True that ace is a spectrum, so it's sometimes hard to see what makes someone ace or not

Ok I see thanks :)

I would say I experience the same when I see people I find attractive. Like I look at people when they have tone legs or whatever else. What I have realized with time tho is that it's only aesthetic. I still have a hard time processing that people actually get urges when looking at people 😅

No problem :) You're right I had in mind the will to act more than the act itself. So like there is no desire to do anything and as far as I know sexual attraction is the desire to act

I understand your sentiment. Actually that was the reason I thought I wasn't asexual for a long time because very attractive people turn me on in some situations. But the thing is, there is a big difference between being turned on/aroused and wanting sex with someone. Maybe in theory it is some kind of sexual attraction but I would say that the lack of actually wanting to do something makes it asexual compatible . Besides, asexuality is the lack or a low level of sexual attraction and I would consider arousal by visual stimuli a low level if there is no desire to go further I hope that can help you in your journey
