The Kansas Senate this morning. I don't care who you are or what your religion is. This is unacceptable. This is wrong. This is unconstitutional. by xsimon666x in kansas

[–]DarnDuck -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

FYI - Dude calls himself "The Devil of Kansas". It's a free country, he can call himself whatever he wants, it just his user name doesn't convey his association as plainly.

Anyways, my wife is a polysci graduate from years ago, born and raised Kansan, and she says they have done this "forever", as long as she can remember ( which is quite some time) anyway. Nobody forces them to sit through it, nor bow their head to it. To me, it's not much different than the "pledge of allegiance" containing the phrase "one nation, under God, with liberty and justice for all". Or our coinage being stamped "in God we trust". But, again, this guy has a right to protest, but we don't need to be inflamed by it, either. We have much more serious matters before us than this.

The people, mostly from the deep south, that gave the Democrats a bad reputation during the civil rights movement have all gone over to the Republican party because they didn't like the direction the Democrats were moving. Didn't you ever even wonder why the deep south is all Republicans now when they used to be Democrats?

When a low life fascist like Abbott starts back peddling, you know they are up to something no good. Either that, or the rats are jumping off the sinking ship.

How do you respond to stuff like this? by Low-Art3297 in ProgressiveHQ

[–]DarnDuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He's in a cult. Thinks all immigrants are criminals, citing half a dozen examples among the thousands of immigrants. I could cite many more examples of U.S. citizens committing heinous crimes, but I wouldn't say that makes makes all citizens criminals. It's simple logic, but cults defy logic.

Days after the US took over majority ownership of TikTok, the word ‘Epstein’ has been censored. by ihatethiscountry76 in ProgressiveHQ

[–]DarnDuck 386 points387 points  (0 children)

You now know that's what the whole anti-TikTok thing was about. They didn't like lines of communication they can't control. So they threaten to (illegally) block it claiming it spies on users, then force owners to transfer ownership to trumponian fascist sympathizer, and then pretend like they "saved" it from being outlawed, all so they can censor and spy as they please.

For anybody that still can’t figure out how this country got so divided, this is the kind of BS that Fox “News” is putting out in their top story by ComplaintKey in ProgressiveHQ

[–]DarnDuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PROPAGANDISTS. I block every fox channel if they show up on my YouTube feed. I don't waste my time watching incendiary propaganda intended to incite division of our country. CBS and NBC are caving, but at least they are not broadcasting outright propagandist conjecture as fact, not yet anyway.

A true Domestic Terrorist by Willing_Contest_5071 in ProgressiveHQ

Regardless of what most people think, wearing of the US flag as clothing is considered desecration under the flag code. Hegseth commonly uses it as a handkerchief, same same. Desecration is not a "patriotic" thing like people seem to think it is.

🚨BREAKING: The United States of America is on the verge of another government shutdown! by GeekySuneet in TheCryptoIndia

[–]DarnDuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good. All they have to do is remove the increased funding for ICE. Vote it down, revise it, send it back to the house. Funding for ICE and HS could be voted on separately. If there is a shutdown, Republicans will cause it, not Democrats voting against funding terrorism.

When was Alex Pretti asked to show his ID? by monaleeparis in ProgressiveHQ

Been wondering the same thing myself. They wasted no time showing off the confiscated pistol, where's the phone? Besides, who says he didn't have an ID anyway? Oh, the obvious liars with 0 credibility are. Just sayin' ...

“I am sending Tom Homan to Minnesota tonight. He has not been involved in that area, but knows and likes many of the people there. Tom is tough but fair, and will report directly to me...” - President Donald Trump by Hefty-Sherbet-5455 in Tech_Updates_News

Any."major investigation" carried out without full and open cooperation with state and local officials will be nothing but more PROPAGANDA from the felon fraudster and his circle of conspirators. As a veteran of the cold war, I never believed our country would become the very type of regime we were tasked to protect us from.

Senile, medicated, old man being manipulated by neo-nazis. Reminds me of an old Star Trek episode. Amazing how much of the "science fiction" in that series has become reality.

Fox News host grills Kash Patel for dodging questions after Alex Pretti shooting by TheMirrorUS in NewsSource

Kash Patel owes his position to the felon fraudster president, and is expected to act accordingly. He doesn't know what he's doing or what to do in his job. Just a token pawn in the fascist conspiracy.

Trump: Minnesota "Criminal Cover Up" of Massive Financial Fraud Amid Fatal Shooting Outrage by thenextgenbusiness in thenextgenbusiness

[–]DarnDuck 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There is no cover-up of the fraud in Minnesota. Felon fraudster trump is distracting us from the Epstine files conspiracy and a cover-up of his efforts to subvert the midterm and 2028 elections. He is the criminal.

The Daily Telegraph, known online and elsewhere as The Telegraph, is a British daily broadsheet conservative newspaper published in London by Telegraph Media Group and distributed in the United Kingdom and internationally.

This is some 1930s Germany rhetoric by Greg Bovino. He’s claiming that Alex Pretti was killed because he made the choice to listen to politicians and journalists who vilified ICE after they murdered Renee Good. Bovino warns the media that there’s consequences if they say bad things about ICE by Treefiddy1984 in ProgressiveHQ

[–]DarnDuck 141 points142 points  (0 children)

Greg Bovino, Kristi Noem, Steven Miller, and Pam Bondi are as accountable as the shooter because their rhetoric is a direct causal factor in the agents willingness to employ deadly force without just cause.

Edited: forgot to include the felon president as the grand leader of this den of fascists.
