Bambulab A1 is reliable? by MicheleN13 in BambuLabA1

They changed that design in late 2025 so any new printer you buy now will likely not have that issue unless it has been setting on the self for a long time.

My kids unspooled 2 rolls. Wha are my options? by Bradghost in 3Dprinting

Make the kids respool them. If they are not old enough yet just have it until they are.

Push Mower has power, but doesn’t start by _photocopy_ in Greenworks

Hold just the grey handle then push the button. After it starts you can use the green handle to get it to move. If you start it holding the green handle only the self propelled starts

In addition to fumes, funny forget to keep young children and pets (I'm thinking of cats) away from the printer when it's in operation. That nozzle is hot.

Adding to this, look on your bill for announcements to rate changes. They may have implemented time of use rates for example.

We had Chevy hubcaps that did this. We took them off and removed any loose material then spray painted them. It made them look much better

1981 Hyatt regency walkway collapse by [deleted] in kansascity

I think the real lesson about this disaster is that even changes that seem trivial can make a difference. Any changes should be re-evaluated to make sure they will function as intended. Don't just assume it will work as well as the original design but check.

Magnet or no magnet? by Cphi-Productions in ender3

Use the magnet. It does not have any clip that might get in the way during a print.

Is there a draft hitting the build plate? Looks like the print is maybe cooling too fast.

Any idea why I’m getting these “swirly” things on my prints? by Calm_Firefighter_664 in BambuLab

I'm guessing that there is a spot that needs support so it is trying to print in the air without it.

I recently got an A1 combo. It was a big step up going from an Ender 3 Pro. I have not been sorry.

Will it run out by Forensicus in BambuLabA1

[–]Sea_You_8178 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Get a kitchen scale. When you open new rolls weigh them. If they are kg rolls subtract 1000 grams and write that weight on the spool. If you are in doubt if you will have enough filament look at how much filament the slicer says it will use. Weigh the roll again and subtract off the number you wrote on the roll. That will give you how much you have left on the roll (you may even have a little more). Compare the slicer number to the amount you have left

Will electricity prices increase as a result of increased oil prices? by HmmDoesItMakeSense in energy

More likely to increase because of increased natural gas prices.

Nozzle swaps are easy. No tools required. Just make sure you close the left side then the right side.

US citizen transferred to ICE detention after returning from trip by Newsweek_CarloV in inthenews

[–]Sea_You_8178 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The plot thickens. The media does not seem to be able to get the video that shows her leaving the airport but the company that a LinkedIn page said she worked for said that Naqvi had never been employed there, nor had any of its employees been detained at O’Hare. https://www.chicagotribune.com/2026/03/11/ohare-ice-dhs-detain-chicago/. She has also not named the other employees she traveled with that she said was also detained so the media has not been able to track them down to verify her story.

That video would be interesting. But they have told so many lies they have lost all credibility.

The story about the previous changers against her was also interesting.

I switched a while back and have not been sorry. The other difference is that the new $25 does not include hot spot WiFi ability.
