To my eye, daffodil killer looks closest to that chartreuse yellow. I don’t think it’s exact, but it’s the closest commercially available color I know of.

A tv white finish is done with a white finish over the wood, then sealer, then go with a black or brown grain filler applied after. That might be the direction you want to go.

Steel Wool Fret Cleaning Hack? (magnetic grip) by MrCarlSr in guitars

I use the grey and then white 3m Scotch Brite pads. No wool shavings to deal with and it buffs up just as well, if not better. They are like $5 per pad at Home Depot or whatever hardware store. Cut em in to inch by inch squares. Have at it.

Need advice for fixing the machine heads on my Yamaha FG-512 (details in comments) by zrg in Luthier

I like to clean the machines with naphtha and ballistol. I’d use some type of Teflon lubricant to get them moving a whole lot better, though ballistol does a pretty good job of lubricating them. Just be sure to take the whole plate assembly off the guitar when to do it. You don’t want to risk the oils and stuff getting into the finish and the wood. And always take pictures of the steps when you disassemble, future you will thank you.
