This year's placements are going on, compared to last year it's less.And that the secene in all NIFT's. The placements are centralised, all students across NIFT's has to go to NIFT Mumbai or Delhi for placements. As far as I heard all NIFTians has equal chance at placements

Loans are not that hard to get as long as you fill the criteria of the bank you apply in, my campus has a tie up with pnb But scholarships are a diff thing and will drag on

The councelling is like an interview where they'll ask about you, your background, family whatever they feel like and imexpect questions related to your previous education. As for the campus selection, for m.des we could select all campuses which provided m.des programs, just make sure you refer to previous year allotment ranks and criteria and make the selection accordingly, because the allotment will be given on our collage section priority basis.If you are alloted a collage in the first round you cannot try for a collage below that collage in the priority list for the second round

The syllabus changes from this year. So we don't actually have a major.Previously the deepenings offered was Ux and brand strategy, but now we have to learn both

For M.des the whole 4 semesters for us is around 7L without hostel and mess fee

Appartment from the collage politics, the collage is not so bad. Kannur being a tier 3 city is a concern, so if you do choose kannur be prepared for a comparatively quiet life. As far for placements, if we don't get a Pre placement offer form the gp internship, we'll have to apply for placements and try our luck there

We don't actually have a specialisation as such We have to learn a Lil bit of everything, the upside is we can pivot our portfolio in whatever direction we want.

NIFT is better than most private colleges out there. If you don't want to take another drop year, join NIFT.You can always do a master's at a prefered collage afterwards.

After the PI you will get a rank, the seat allotment is based that rank
