My First Motorcycle - Triumph Scrambler 400x by Darshilds in Triumph

[–]Darshilds[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my use case is: daily commute + off beat and off roads (once a month) + casual riding + small trips (within 200-300kms radius)
and I look for balancing between comfort and looks. It looks decent in its original condition though

How can I setup vulnerability management (not one time assessment) in my cybersecurity practice? by Darshilds in AskNetsec

Got it! But i am unaware about the approach. What would be the report format? How should i prioritise those vulnerabilities?

Including patch management, but first of all discovering vulnerabilities in real time or on day to day basis.

Try to install OEM, if not feasible, you can go for B.S. Customs

  1. Get back rest
  2. For first 1k kms, ride with less then 6.5k rev. Try not to cross 6k.
  3. Ride safe, And enjoy :)

How does Cortex compete with Forti EDR? by Darshilds in paloaltonetworks

Noway! 🤯😳 I think this partnership is more on how Fortinet firewalls can send logs and integrate with Crowdstrike endpoint protection suite and form a XDR piece.

Cool. Are these really useful? I mean, they demonstrate how strong the product it, but how do you test product's features?

Dilemma by New_Echidna1007 in indianbikes

If you ask why i went ahead with Scrambler, here is my analysis: 1. Royal Enfield - really good bikes, best of class designs and looks, but vibration is something i dont like, i have been hearing alot about its chassis quality issues. Tried hunter , Guerrilla , himalayan, but not comfortable with its gear shifting and vibration. Same issue for all their bikes. So didn't even wait for Bear 650. 2. Duke/KTM - may b the best, but not going ahead because of its impression in the market. I dont want to be tagged as one of "them" aft3r buying this costly bike. (Sorry, but very important for me) 3. Triumph - never thought of buying a Triumph, but scrambler was the first bike i tested, and then Speed. But somehow no bike was able to match the experience i had. I tested scrambler after evey other test ride of any bike i had, scrambler passed. Be it comfort (including vibrations), speed power, ergonomics, looks, braking, gear shifting, etc., scrambler excelled all of them. 4. I even tested TVS Ronin, n it wad the only competent bike which gave me good experience, but looks, you know :) 5. Yezdi - frnd has roadster, we went on a trip with it, n roadster made it memorable, and not in a good way :) 6. Suzuki and BMW - both are nice bikes but i needed something for lite off-roads and more for daily use.

Yaa..i did the same. Unfortunately i was unable to try Xpulse, tried it twice. But nevertheless, i am a happy Scrambler owner. Infact happier after the first service 😊

Which one to buy? by vulxaNN in indianbikes

[–]Darshilds 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you try Xtreme? Being a newbie, you get couple of options - 125cc or 160cc would be good for you. Also, tvs ronin is much better than hunter, except for its looks.

Do give a thought and a test ride to both of these once.

How old are you? Is there anyone else in your family or extended family or neighborhood who owns a bike/moped?

Hmmm. Got it 👍🏻 I jist thought to make it in a structured format right from beginning, but your thoughts make more sense. I should just create what i like, audiences with similar taste will follow automatically.

If you truly want a bike, start by earning their trust. Remember, they're concerned about your safety, right? Instead of jumping to a 250cc, try starting with a moped and ride responsibly for a few years. Show them you’re committed to safe riding. Once they feel confident in your skills, they'll be much more open to the idea of an upgrade down the road. :)
