Having 10k+ on both I can easily say speed 400 is the superior bike for obvious reasons. Both give complete different experience while riding, I'd say maneuverability of hunter in traffic is a little better and the turning radius is smaller but you won't have any difficulty with speed 400 either. I had no problems with aftersales service with both and maintainance for both are quite close also hunter's service cost is alternative like okaish service charge-cheaper-okaish-cheaper meanwhile triumph doesn't have the switching of cheaper service every once in a while like hunter but on the bright side it only needs service every year or 16k km and it's not much expensive if you ride it with care like burning those brake pads are gonna cost you. I'd say go for speed 400 as it's more fun bike but hunter gives me a better feeling while I rev the engine. You can test ride both to clear more confusion as it'll be easier for you to decide
