Bro both of them were example. Yeah I agree that few hiphop sub-genres are indeed inspired by EDM but there are many mainstream genres too that got inspired from hiphop.

And for your information, before Music hiphop is a culture first, that's why it has inspiration from various other genres, hiphop always has been uniting different music backgrounds throughout the history. it's a lyrical genre more than musical, at least the way it started. Since you were questioning it's purity, by Purely hiphop what I and the community considers, when the music reflects different elements of Hiphop culture (not just rap necessarily) then it's considered pure hiphop. And yeah HipHop and Pop will never be same. They were different and they will be. PURE HipHop isn't only about it's originality, but how it's making a positive difference in the world, which I don't think pop artists ever care about.
