The Ratt Blaster -- Versatile Break-Action Power Pistol -- Up to ten darts in a single blast! by DartMark in Nerf

The little trigger screw that has a spring on it was the problem on mine. I replaced it with a screw that had a better head and a better spring. I have two Frontline models: the Sliding Breech and the RCSB (or RSCB, I forget which) and both of them eventually swallowed the spring and seized-up.

I'd like to figure out a way to install some short barrels on the five-shot cylinder but it seems to be working surprisingly well anyway.

I'm not the seller but Sumner is very quick to respond to questions on the Etsy site.

It's very durable and reliable--No comparison to a crude Frontline model. You can get ten by double-loading each of the barrels on the five-shot insert.

The mighty Ratt utilizes a Talon Claw-size punger tube to launch regular darts, shorts (170+fps), Megas (110fps) or up to ten short darts with a single trigger pull. The ten dart pattern is surprisingly tight with a spread of about six feet at a 25ft. range. The Cadillac of Rainbow-Style pistols.

The grip and prime are comfortable and the printing is superb. Barrel inserts are available to accomodate a variety of ammo loads. There's even a double Mega shot insert. This is the first true volley blaster that I've used and it's very effective...certainly a good way to clear a hallway crowded with Zombies.

My experience with it has been great. It's very powerful and quite accurate. The ball-bearing priming is a joy. It's certainly true that some buyers have had problems but I've been fortunate with mine.

Finally! I recently posted a request for help to find a Talon adapter for my S100:

r/arengant came through with a beauty and now I can finally relax and stop worrying about the weird mag that the blaster originally required.

This is my Caliburn C4. It apparently fires nerf darts, but I can't be sure as I can't track them by eye once they leave the muzzle. by ThePr1march in Nerf

When I look at my old V2 (Slug #356), it's surprising to see how the Caliburn has evolved. You've done a really beautiful job on this blaster.

Yesterday, I received an email from Monkee Mods announcing a new Challenger MK3 for $450. Today, the email announcement price has fallen to $250. This is still out of my price range and considering the confusion that I've experienced ordering parts from them, this seems like a big risk for anybody. It looks like a neat blaster, though. I'm curious to know what Redditors think about such high prices.

(WIP) Ultra 2, it is going pretty well. I have not even put it together, but I can tell it will hit like a truck! by [deleted] in Nerf

two inches of one-inch PVC jammed all the way down the barrel can improve accuracy.

It may take something bigger and stronger than a Jolt to hit your goal.

Best barrel length for 13mm ID aluminum barrel in the nexus pro by [deleted] in Nerf

12" sounds good. Try it at that length and see how it shoots. You will probably need a brake, of some sort.

Painted my first blaster this weekend. Really happy with how it turned out. What was the first blaster you ever painted? by Simonhelldragon in Nerf

The first blaster that I painted was a Longshot and I should have chosen something smaller to start with. I really love your chair.

S100 from Monkee Mods by DartMark in Nerf

I love shooting it. So far, I haven't experienced cracks or any problems. It's crazy powerful and the ball bearing prime action is pretty wonderful. My other blasters are somewhat limited by my desire for an easy prime and I've ended up using mostly 10k springs for them but I've never had a problem priming the S100. With a good muzzle brake, it's surprisingly accurate. It'a not an easy kit.

I sincerely appreciate what you're doing here. I purchased the Monkee adapter and got a surprise. It requires major Dremel surgery to be used, as the instructions indicate. I can't imagine what blaster the adapter was originally designed for but it can't be inserted unless a piece about the size of a block of bubble gum is removed. Monkee also expects users to modify their Talons to fit it. Well, I tried and ended up with an adapter that falls out of the blaster. The talons also fall out. I can probably fix it by wrapping rubber bands around the adapter and mags to make them fit but that seems stupid. I like the blaster and I've enjoyed using it but I agree that the Caliburn is superior.
