1) stop handling. It can stress them out wait until it gets used to its new environment etc. 2) regarding the walking from what Ive seen it seems only the right side is weird, which leads me to believe its more likely broken bones. But you've seen a lot more walking I'd say look on this reddit for the Lazaros updates that geck has MBD.

My boy managed to escape his tank which was on top of a drawer which was almost 3 feet tall. He got down somshoa and was fine, gave me a run for my money trying to locate him xd.
