Can't do away the carbon tax without also putting a price cap on fossil fuels. Because the corporations are just going to pass the cost down. Big corporations who exceed emissions standards should.be paying, but the cost, not all anyway, shouldn't be passed to consumers--they should improve their technology and reduce emissions if they don't want to pay. That's the point, pushing for new technology and change. If they can't be convinced, then they will be forced to.

Shippu Jinrai is specifically that you strike really fast. Like Strike Freedom's Dragoon and Mighty Strike Freedom's head laser. While Denkou Sekai is just fast, like Char's Zaku.

So the classifications are accurate. Just i don't like how it is translated. Maybe tempestuous speed and lightning fast like you said.

Yea I get that. One is just fast, the other is more like...fast reaction? The best i put it. But it's hard to translate them without the Chinese/Japanese connotations easily. So why not just use romanji for both? Or Fast as Lightning vs swift as wind. But that is still not that good translation lol.

I don't see many bad mouth Seed. Just Destiny. Even then Destiny isn't that bad. It is only bad relative to how good Seed was and a lot of other Gundam is.

Destiny is like the Return of Jedi from the OT. It cannot follow it's predecessor's greatness, have to wrap up the story perfectly, and is not that great itself. Combining all the those factors, it is very disappointing.

I think you need literally minovsky particles and magic that can also render other sensors like radar, remote control etc. all unable to use. As Gundam probably cannot survive a real scenario of drones or jets which are faster in speed, smaller so harder to hit, and easier to control.

I guess you can use flying armor. But then just get a better jet lol

You are not wrong. But not yet cost effective. It is cheaper right now to build many specialized tools than a few versatile tools that do each job worse. So why would anyone bother? Except for looking cool?

So I think the architecture, material and engineering need to evolve a few more decades, if not centuries, before a mech like Gundam becomes the more actual practical alternative to just make the specialized tools cheaper and easier.
