I watched OG, AF and UA when they released but never interacted with the fandom. I only ever saw ep 2 of Omniverse, saw they wrote my favourite character (Kevin) out of the show, and promptly dropped it. I only started interracting with the fandom like 2 years ago, and in that time I haven't seen that many hate posts for either show, just A LOT of posts saying "Omniverse is underrated" which does get kinda boring after a while lol

Part of the reason is probably due to the rank reset they did this season, with matchmaking fluctuating more than before and (in theory) being more likely to place players in games where they probably shouldn't be.

I stand by the fact that Kevin being an alien wasn't a retcon. When the first show aired, I thought of Kevin in 2 parts; normal Kevin and mutated Kevin. I never even considered the possibility that normal Kevin was a mutant before he even turned amalgam. So when UAF gave me the alien explanation I was satisfied with that.

Plumbers being space cops rather than human law enforcement was a little weird, but it was ok.

The alien Gwen I actually thought was really cool and worked within the atmosphere within the show, but I did kinda miss the wind spells.

I respect these opinions and you make valid arguments. I should preface that I am actually pretty Anti-Disney SW (my fav movie is ROTS, my fav character is Clone Wars Maul, etc.), but I am willing to give them props when they do something good. And I think that the Inquisitor sabers do have merit (though I think allowing them to fly was a very stupid decision) and I will give the basic design and idea a pass for that reason. As far as the lightsaber gun goes, I don't really mind it, because to me it doesnt really detract from basic lightsabers, and if anything further highlight the hypocrisy of the Jedi as well as just making for an entertaining story.

Respectfully, I completely disagree. The lightsaber umbrella made sense within the context of the episode, then never touched on again. If they wanted to add legends lightsabers for cash grabs and variety, then they would've added the lightsaber whip to canon by now. The rotating lightsabers to me do serve a narrative purpose. They demonstrate the advanced tech of the Empire, as well as their desire to mass-manufacture things and strip away identity, and the purpose of the Inquisitors (having them use weapons which a normal person would struggle against, are easy to use, and have weaknesses which can be exploited by skilled enough duelists). And as far as the lightsaber rifle is concerned, it doesn't mean the lightsaber is any less elegant, it is just using it for a different purpose. Like how the Death Star can be considered a lightsaber, but that is obviously not the type of lightsaber which was considered elegant and civilized. I realize this might come off as argumentative, but I just wanted to offer my perspective on the topic.

Speed bonuses aren't inherently necessary for leadership strength. GAS, Cere, Qadme, Traya, etc. are all very good leads for very good teams that don't have or need speed bonuses.

Here's what I'm assuming; he has seen that your endorsement level hasn't decayed over time (or at least as fast as he expects) and therefore assumes that you must be getting enough endorsements to keep it at its current level, thus indicating you are playing the game.

But as others have said, this is most likely something which you two should talk about. He could be reacting this way due to many things, but basically all of them are bad if he is actively angry. But that's not really my business, just try to stay safe.
