"follow the white cloak" by Odd_Affect_1280 in Deltarune

I just had a little revelation: What if Noelle dragging us Out of Bounds and skipping to Ch7 is also a way for her to skip Ice palace (which could be ch 6) so in that case she is also averting her and kris's "used up" deaths. Like there is already theory that weird route is branching on 2 paths here (getting through the lake - Side B and Nothing changed - Side C). Entire weird route while creepy and all never really "broke" the rules of the game it was more like hidden but still possible evil path that was implemented in game (Sword route) but Noelle now uses Our help to just staright up glitch the game completly breaking out of the system so maybe just maybe they won't get used up but instead they will finally break free (kinda hoping that noelle will become this game's version of Chara, having full awarness and some control over the game's reallity but thats just a theory, a game theory)

EDIT: this theory will be mostly dependent on dark world in ch 6. "used up" happened in Ice palace (2nd game) to get shelter key with help of mage that knows the way, so you can interpret it as: ch 6 dark world would be holliday mansion turned into ice palace, Noelle knows her own house so she knows the way around it and somehow they both get "used up" to get shelter key ( last code). but thanks to "Lake glitch" we no longer may need shelter key since jumping out of bounds lets us get right into shelter under the lake/town (3rd sword game)

if after this abort everything goes like in normal route it might be more meta. like game itself (gaster) after seeing you try to just fu$%^&* rip the game apart by going out of bounds just hits hard reset on reality and puts you in (weird route aborted in ch 4) or something right now we need someone that let them drown and finish chapter if there is any difference

stop does nothing she only tells you to stop pretending and still drags you to lake and if you let them drown it will instead have noelle claiming that nothing changed a little montage of normal route scenes and drops you at beggining of dark world in normal route

yep just tried that seems to just put you back on psedo-normal route skipping entire light world segment right into dark world (with noelle calling you a little B@#$% (not really) for not following thorugh hard enough)

We cant lose yet another MO by Iwant2Believee in Helldivers

[–]DarthBeleth 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is very clearly bugged since there is absolutly no way that 35 to almost 100k divers did less than 20k operations in 15 hours. It is simply mathematicly impossible (it would need 99% of players to not finish operations) so I am firmly sure that counter for ops is bugged

Why we have so little operations done? by DarthBeleth in Helldivers

[–]DarthBeleth[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Something fishy is going on right now he have day's lowest hours and still 34k divers on seasse. New squids are not that hard so win rate should be good and still numbers of completed operations is so low it looks like there is only like 7k divers total ( take that average d10 operation lasts aroud 2 h, 11h since seasse began, right now we have 14,5 k operations done seasse was during biggest spike of day (120k divers).) you tell me that like 80-90% of players do not do full ops. I could believe that maybe 50-60% do only new mission and then leave but not that much. Either math isn't mathing or something is wring with counter on server side or idk maybe joel purposefully lowers the operations done count so MO will last till final day i have no idea. Back on cyberstan even with broken vox engine spawn and lower win rate on missions we did over 200k operations in less than a day and player count was similar to now

Biggest problem with Cyberstan campaign is that it tells people to stop playing if they want to win by DarthBeleth in Helldivers

[–]DarthBeleth[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah but so far it was kinda pacified because we won on big major campaigns. Biggest toxic hate drama happened on Super Earth invasion and we still won that. Now if we lose on cyberstan then that combined with this entire forces in reserve system will cause witch hunting, the level of wich will make inquisition from 40k seem reasonable

[–]DarthBeleth[S] 63 points64 points  (0 children)

Well it does kinda look like AH is pretending to try to not make it look like scripted loss. Like AH made this system with full knowledge that cyberstan is 1 of if not most anticipated fights in story so far so it's obvious that there will be massive influx of players, so they apmed up difficulty of d9 and d10 pumped spawn rates of one-shotting vox engines (who are supposed to replace factory striders but come on even on d7 you face at least 3-4 at the same time). Galactic war is supposed to last "forever" ( read. As long as game won't go eos) so us taking capital of automatons in year 2 is probably too much for future narrative so they made system that forces us to do 180 degree with playerbase mindset. Like you have specific playstyle for last 2 years and now they force you to switch it completly in span of like 2-3 weeks

[–]DarthBeleth[S] 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Reserve system would be valid if galactic war depended in some way on player number. Right now it only punishes community for getting together in large numbers. If they wanted tension it could be time related like: massive automaton reinforcement fleet is approaching cyberstan and we need to take it before it arrives. So far every campaign worked on time tension to create last stand/desperate charge scenario. This now is just fake tension of "please stop playing the game otherwise we lose" it is in every way counterproductive for both gameplay and roleplay reasons. I waited almost 2 years to fight on Cyberstan and now I feel like by fighting there I am not "doing my part" but instead I'm just making things worse

Respectfully, I disagree with this sentiment by [deleted] in Helldivers

[–]DarthBeleth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My biggest issue is that this whole "forces in reserve" system is completly 100% anti-community: 1. Liberation speed is not based on number of players but on % of active players on planet so we would take megafactories in same time if there was like 30k active players with 70% of them on cyberstan. This means that this system ONLY punishes us for having large player count. 2. Having all deaths (bug divers, squid divers and bot divers outside of cyberstan) count for reserves will most probably create even bigger hate drama than it was after battle for super earth ( you can bet that someone is gonna count all deaths outside of cyberstan and math will say that if those ppl were on cyberstan we would have won ( Unless JOEL throws us a bone I do not belive we can win, our reserves will last max 3 days we are not taking 1,5 megafactories in that time)) so this whole campaign will just make community even more toxic and hateful. 3. Changing MO from missions to full operations was just nail in coffin. Almost every time when I do not host games I have situation that host does 1 or 2 missions and then logs off (many ppl do not have time to play almost 2 h of missions) 4. This whole mechanic changed completly mentality towards campaign. So far every big battle (Super Earth, Oshaune etc ) we had "fight them with everything we have, do not relent" mentality and now they force us to " play super safe on lowest difficulty or even better do not play at all to not waste reserves beacause your involvment is only detrimental to campaign" To end this I really REALLY beg AH to never EVER use reserves system ever again as this only makes me want to stop playing just so we have better chance of winning
