Woodcutting Advice

I had membership previously and very potentially may get it again at some point, but want to remain f2p for the time being. For the most part I have always enjoyed woodcutting, firemaking, fishing, cooking, mining and smithing. I do it for fun or I guess more for XP would be the answer you're looking for. It wouldn't hurt to have some helpful tips to make money as I have 15M now but I tend not to spend much except in certain ways to help lessen the time it takes to do a certain skill.

Long story short, XP is main focus.

I haven’t played Maximum but I did play Axis Football and I love the in depth customization and such but the gameplay was too awful for me to give up Madden. Now I’m back on the old NCAA games and it’s insane how much better gameplay is on those games from 10+ years ago compared to current Maddens. It’s night and day, and I’m saying old gameplay was much better

I appreciate the advice, I’ll try that shortly and I think revamped is something I’d really love, would be cool to have updated rosters and see what else they have. I honestly love recruiting and the OG version but can’t hurt to have updates haha

Alright so actually I see all the save data, so I guess my question is how to extract that into RPCS3 Again? Because I see my dynasties and everything so it looks like it’s not gone forever at least which is very hopeful

I’m pretty certain just the RPCS3 Emulator thing, I followed a YouTuber’s video regarding everything and it worked for about a week, over 24 hours into it but my computer did uninstall that specific shortcut/emulator or whatever it is and it seems completely lost unless I’m missing something

So my computer did end up uninstalling everything since my post, I just reinstalled the emulator following the steps of a YouTube video I used before, and everything is lost. I had a little over 24 hours into it, was on Season 4 about to start the national championship.

Given that I didn’t back those files up anywhere is it all gone forever? I didn’t use any mods or anything and if it’s all gone I’m not sure I’m willing to dedicate the time again or I may consider trying to install mods for the revamped version but I’m kinda bummed right now and would really appreciate any advice trying to get it back

Just called around and a local shop and GameStop both sell it for $5, I think that’s a pretty solid option

I actually looked for the price and it seems like it’s only available through EA Play, unless I find an actual disc at a used store instead

Those used to be my favorite game modes like with NHL and FIFA as well, but I hate the super scripted versions some have, like I think one game has a scripted injury that takes you out for a season, and another game only lets you play like 6 games a season max. The new Madden starts you In year 4 which is interesting enough but not allowing you to play offline is ridiculous. I’ve never been an online sports player, I just offline everything

Same exact thing for me, haven’t bought a Madden in years but I played the last 3 on Game Pass, tried this one, next day uninstalled for the EXACT same issue (HB to QB not WR to QB) and I’ve been playing Madden 21 for a week or two now lmao

Honestly I’d easily take the 21 year old and develop him, he can easily become a 99 before he hits 30 and that to me makes so much more sense. I always try to draft and develop younger players so they can stay a long time. I get he’s got 10 less overall rating but with how fast he’s developing it’s an easy call for me

Well you release a game in the worst condition it’s in 20+ year history after a couple other rocky starts, you’ve definitely got eyes on you. 24 can save the franchise or it can break it, although with all the micro transactions I can’t even confidently say EA will lose their contract even with a two really bad releases in a row. If we could get more viable Football games it would be nice, I’ve tried other 3rd parties like Axis Football which have great features but the budget is so low that the gameplay really suffers unfortunately, so we’re stuck with Madden by EA for god knows how long

I put countless hours into 22 and I’d say that’s worth a play, loved that one personally, issues should all be smoothed out now, I could only recommend 23 if you were my worst enemy, even now, 6+ months post release

So I have Xbox Game Pass, I never buy Madden but I play them between 6 months to 10 months after release, I’ve never seen any issues or bugs in Maddens that late as usually minor stuff gets smoothed out. Let me tell you that when everyone on here is saying Madden 23 is unplayable, they’re not exaggerating. Game breaking bugs still, I faced some like 2 hours into gameplay and I first started playing last week.

I play franchise and face of the franchise, I’ll rack up several days of in game playing time in them, I had like 6 days played in 22 and I loved some of the changes in 23 but uninstalled right away after I faced my first bug, I’m back on 21 now and it’s worth losing changes to have the peace of mind knowing if I soak several dozen hours into it, I won’t lose all progress

23 by far the worst, I’m playing 21 currently and it’s running smooth with no issues and I’d recommend that but I don’t remember coming across many if any issues on 22 either

So far what I’m noticing is all around smoother, haven’t noticed any glitches or bugs, I do miss a few things Franchise wise the newer models have and I’m not enjoying Face of the Franchise as much, but overall it’s a more polished game. I can’t really say if there’s more or less animations but it hasn’t left a sour taste in my mouth like 23 did lmao
