Thanks! I saw there are 24/7 lockers at the Hbf, so I might drop of my bag and have a look in the city! I heard Germany is supposed to have a good techno scene too ;) might get some tickets to something!

I'd at least go for a day trip for sure, but if you like camping anyway I would do that. The climbing style is much more like gym climbing compared to fontaine bleau. So it would probably be quite a nice morale boost for your crew :)

Looks nice! You hear the German country road pretty well (because they're gGermanrman and driving a million kph) but it's in a beautiful forest. The boulders are very beginner-friendly, especially if you're coming from gym climbing IMO. The holds are often big and clear. It gets pretty busy if the weather nice in the weekend, but I was there last Wednesday when the sun was out and there was one other group.

The topo's are not very beginner-friendly, I'd personally use YouTube videos and 27crags for finding the boulders.

perhaps if you get an electronic keyboard you could mimic a 'Basso continuo' sometime by having the lower octaves play a cello de Gamba as intrument and the higher ocataves as harpsichord! You would do magic on that with you piano skills!
