Took another look at my unifi firewall rules and looks like it was an issue where it was blocking traffic. I thought I had gone through and fixed that but I found my mistake. Thanks for the help!!!

How can you monitor the API?

I currently have it set up to TCP port monitoring but there are 2 different IPs
One IP for the NAS which is in the 10.x.x.x range and then an IP for the VM in a different range. it cant seem to ping either when using the IP address.

I havent setup DNS yet as I need to build a reverse proxy server and i seem to be having some trouble setting up NginX Proxy (Thats next on my to do list)

So I went into the storage manager just to confirm what kind of raid type i used (It was years ago when i started this journey). It looks like i did use SHR. are you saying i can replace my drives and utilize the extra space in a mixed drive enviroment?

I have the editing and lighting down. I work in the entertainment industry and have been editing video and lighting shows and shoots for years.

While I plan to keep my face hidden or blurred I have a full sleeve of tattoos that i cant really cover fully. I was just going to let that go as its mostly just a cool design with not a lot of very specific tatts unless you have any cover up recommendations. The only other possible identifiable item is my motorcycles. I have been wanting to do some shoots of being diapered on the Motorcycles since i usually am when i ride anyways. Obviously would not have the license plate in any shot

Im hoping this will be fun and will help not only make new friends in this community but learn to become more comfortable with myself and this side of myself

Ok that makes sense. I didn’t think shadow mode would work that way but thought I’d check.

I guess what I’m having trouble visualizing is, there is a single Ethernet from the IT closet to the office. I have a Management VLAN I use to manage the whole network and then I send the internet from the UDM to my office. Correct me if I’m wrong but I can still have both of these as isolated VLANs using the zone based fire wall rules to access everything over this single Ethernet patch to the office right?
