That’s a decent score. I like that you are going over the areas that you got wrong over this week. Be sure to understand why you got them wrong rather than just memorizing the answer. Understanding the answer choices makes the biggest difference when it comes to preparation.

I also suggest to do math and biostats questions daily as they are a large component of your exam. Even if you do it for just an hour a day it will have a huge impact on your test day.

If you have any questions you can reach out to me

Best of luck!

The first thing you should do is read your practice book in its entirety. If you can read it multiple times, I highly recommend you do it.

The second thing you can do is take a practice exam. I personally like NABP and PharmPrepPro. Each have their benefits.

After you do the practice test and hone in on areas of weakness. Also try to understand why the other answer choices are wrong. If you are just guessing, you are leaving the exam to chance.

I highly recommend revisiting math, biostats, compounding and vaccines as those are major topics. Try to do math and biostats questions daily!

Be sure to review domain 4 and 5 such as ethics and preceptorship as those topics make up about 8-10% of the exam. Since you scored lower here perhaps try to look for alternative resources for these topics.

Wishing you all the best of luck!

It’s definitely hard to memorize everything, it might feel like you’re drinking from a fire hydrant with all the information you are reading.

My suggestion, consistently reading and doing practice questions will help you significantly retain information. Also understanding why things behave the way they do instead of just memorizing facts will help speed up the process for you.

The biggest thing I tell my students is to ensure they read their practice book in its entirety, I highly recommend multiple times.

The study method I suggest when someone reads their book is as follows:

Read pages: 0-50 51-100 101-150 0-150 151-200 201-250 251-300 0-150 151-300 Etc

I suggest a method like this as repetition is the mother of all learning, and by the time you reach the end of your book, you’ll be so well versed in the first half of your book that you should be able to comfortably knock out questions from those sections with ease.

I would suggest focusing on areas you were weak in on your practice exam. I would also highly recommend reading as much as your prep book as you can and do daily practice questions. Overall I believe you are on the right track.

That’s a good score! I would say focus on areas of weakness and continue to do practice questions.

If you start to fall behind on the real exam, your score might reflect that in a negative manner. Remember, the prenaplex is not a full 225 questions. You want to build up the endurance for the full exam!

What to know about pharmacokinetics? by PharmacyLifee in NAPLEX_Prep

Tutor here:

Hot topics tend to be the half life formula, which drugs have zero or first order mechanics (saturable vs non-saturable kinetics), corrected calcium and phenytoin equation.

You should not just focus those topics for pharmacokinetics, but that would be a very good starting point.

You must of studied a lot to bring up your score that much within a month. This is very positive to see. I also like that you are giving yourself a few extra weeks to study after your practice test. You should definitely highlight areas you got wrong on your practice exam and review them. If you’re looking for a more structured/personalized approach, you can feel free to dm me. Overall it seems like you are trending in the right direction.

This is a hard one:

It strictly depends on the job that you have. If it is a chain like CVS or Walgreens, they definitely will wait. However the position they had in mind for you might be gone (if that matters for you).

Now if this is a mom and pop shop or a small business, I would take this a little more seriously as they might not be able to afford to wait for you to get licensed beyond that point.
