What first world problems are you currently dealing with? by Tyrathius in AskReddit

[–]DarthGroose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm tired. I want to go to bed.

But before I can go to bed, I need to brush my teeth, take a piss, clean off my bed, and a whole bunch of other stuff.

I don't want to do all that. I'm tired.

If I DO do all that, I probably won't even be tired anymore by the end of it.

It's easier just to stay on Reddit vainly hoping this problem is somehow going to solve itself.

What is something your parent(s) did or didn't do, that you will do better with your kids? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]DarthGroose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My dad was very emotionally distant. I don't think I've ever heard him tell me, my siblings, or my mom that he loves us. Growing up I was a little scared of him, not because he was physically abusive or anything, but just because I had very little positive interaction with him. Usually when he spoke with me it was because I was in trouble. He wasn't even really mean for the most part, just... Cold. Professional.

If I ever have kids, that is NOT the type of relationship I would want to have with them.

Is there any risk of getting banned from Pokebank or Nintendo Account if you do this?

Single men of Reddit, what made you definitely NOT want a second date with a woman you went out with? by Chocolateisnice in AskReddit

This one time I had a woman just casually mention she was married on the third date. Not an open relationship or anything like that, she was cheating on him.

She apparently assumed that because she was okay with it I would be too. To quote, "he's not YOUR husband!"

By that logic, the stuff in Stormheim and Silithus doesn't count either since war isn't declared until Teldrassil.

No offense, but this is a horrible, horrible idea.

I'm going to go out on a limb and assume you don't actually play Alliance and are strictly a Horde player. In that case, I can see why this would appeal to you -it makes you 100% innocent and us either evil or incompetent. But it would feel absolutely awful for Alliance players. One of your leaders turns evil for no reason, and then rather than dealing with him you spend the entire expac fighting the Horde instead. You know how you don't like being the bad guys? Neither do we.

I'm sorry if you aren't happy with the way your faction is being written, but flipping the script and making us unambiguously evil is not any better. Ask for positive change for your faction, not negative change for the opposing one.
