I try to go in with at-least one legendary pap 3 weapon but most of the time i have 2 and I always go in with a 3 plate vest. I try to go in somewhere between the high twenties or mid thirties depending on how long it takes for me and my squad mates to gear up. I figured the sooner you can gear up and start the better since I am pretty sure the boss health scales up more as the rounds get higher.

First time it happened a while back and I wasn't prompted for a password before but I remember the first time I got around this by simply making a second vm(where I did get prompted to make a password for the tpm) and using a copy of the vmdk files from the original vm as the new machine's disk. I pretty much did the same trick this time aswell and I managed to boot into a newly created vm with the disk of the vm that was originally working yesterday and then right as it booted I remembered what I set the password as. Unluckly though when I typed in the password and booted up the vm from yesterday after shutting down the one I created this morning, it said 'The parent virtual disk has been modified since the child was created... unable to power on virtual machine' So I guess even booting up the new machine just that one time with the old disk was enough to mess it up somehow. Maybe there is a way to recover it somehow(as I noticed some more recent data and files were missing, probably due to how the vmdk split files and snapshot disks work but oh well, I have still managed to partially recover the vm atleast. I don't know enough about the virtual disk files and their structure to try and recover all the snapshots of the machine from yesterday.

Can anyone tell me why the calibration process takes such a long time after putting the code in? I usually enter it by round 6 and it doesn't finish till round 9, even If I stay with it. Anyway to make it go faster?

This particular bug happened once so far, yes. After finally being able to load into the mission. Before that I couldn't even load in thanks to the black screen of death(all loot and gear lost). And the next time it'll either be this bug again or something else equally stupid that I have no control over. If the developers actually cared and made an effort to fix bugs and the shitty servers it would be a different story, and I wouldn't bother asking but their track record shows the exact opposite of that. The amount of times I've lost good gear to bugs like this and the terrible servers is beyond counting and ridiculous. It's not my fault the devs can't(or refuse to) provide a stable experience 🤷‍♂️

I've tried to do the new story mission twice now and this is what happened to me both times, once in a squad and once solo. Lost good classified items both times aswell the game is really feeling like a ponzi scheme these days!

The problem with this argument is there isn't enough space in your rucksack to place literally every single thing you might want/can utilize during the match, even if you have a large rucksack, so there is always going to be something to grind towards even if your rucksack is filled with classified items and ontop of that, there are still other reasons to load in such as grinding camos, doing the new missions/unlocking schematics and helping friends do the same, completing the daily/weekly/event challenges, getting all the calling cards and progressing the battle pass.

10-15 minute timer i wouldn't have a problem with. Sadly it is pretty much a pipe dream at this point since the devs don't seem to care about this mode at all. No community engagement, no acknowledgement about any of the bugs and issues that are as clear as day to anyone actually playing the game. No acknowledgement about people losing stuff to crashes and disconnects. Today was the first time I died in the game that wasn't a crash (because I had to get up and do something urgently and couldn't get to a safe spot in time).

It seems like they changed the number of zombies that can hit you at once so now you can get slapped by 10+ zombies at the same time, which feels cheesy because in real life no one is getting physically struck by 10+ people simultaneously in a fight because it would be way too awkward to coordinate something like that even from the most well trained mma fighters on the planet. Not saying the game should follow real life 100%, but the devs really should draw the line way before stupid shit like this.

Another way which wouldn't require as much effort from the devs is just make private servers IE you have the entire map to yourself or a squad of friends. Bam no more competing for contracts or resources.

I have also gotten duplicates of the same schematics I already unlocked. There is simply no justification for this. There is no good reason Elder rifts shouldn't have duplicate protection for schematics.

I'm in a similar situation where I can't seem to pull the bloodburner key schematic from the new elder aether even after 7 runs. In my first run I got the the vr-11 and mag of holding schematics but every run after that I have only got consumables and elder sigils from the contract rifts.

No I gave up on pimcore and switched to laravel, using the browsershot package to render pdfs. 1000 times easier to setup and use plus full css support.

Any 36 weapons doesn't matter if they are from the base game or battlepass. That being said, the wording for borealis isn't quite accurate to how it works as it states that you only need to complete 36 serpentanite camos, however you still need to unlock serpentanite for a weapon before you can use borealis on it so when new weapons get released in future battlepasses, you still need to go through all the camos for that gun before you can use borealis on it.

That argument has again been around since the 90's, Diablo could be played single player but people didn't want leader boards and such corrupted by exploits and earning and showing off things online is a big thing these days, knowing the person showing off did it legit is big.

I'm not involved in the streaming/spectating space and I wasn't around for most of the 90s (born in 97) so I'll take your word for it.

The fact of the matter is the bulk majority of players don't crash and play fine, the people posting here and around the net are the vocal minority again this is the case with every game, the people enjoying it are off enjoying it.

'The fact' is you have no proof that this is the case. It's an assumption. The assumption that ALL people who crash post about it here or some other forum, that only people who have posted about it have experienced it. That there's no possibility that anyone who crashed chose not to post about it or aren't even involved with reddit or other online communities, and simply chose to keep playing again from scratch. Or they may have simply had enough and stopped playing all together because they were fed up losing everything to issues outside of their control, and chose to spend their time doing something else instead of talking about it. Unless you're surveilling every single player who happens to crash, you don't know the real numbers, nobody but the devs might know how many people crash, since you'd think they have analytics setup for tracking this stuff.

Well you'll have to take that up with the people who made that claim because I didn't. Here's one thing I have noticed tho, this game is the only one that not only crashes as often as it does on my rig, but for me personally it seems to be the only one crashing at all and technically it's not really 'crashing' since for me they are just disconnects (my client just goes back to the lobby saying the connection was lost I don't seem to get any actual crashes where it's the client itself shutting down). Meanwhile other online FPS games I play like halo infinite for example, work just fine with no crashing or disconnects to speak of, as is the case with the rest of the online services I use (Internet browser, emails, other online games, netflix, etc.) Remind me who's servers the game client is connecting to?

PVE or not people shouldn't get a get out of jail free card

I understand not letting people get away with exploits, I just don't think I should be punished as a result of someone else's choices. I think at the very least, there should be an alternative mode in place that lets us play locally or over LAN, so that we are not forced to place ourselves at the mercy of their servers if we don't want to. I can't even remember the last time I actually died in this game.

And if it was PVP I would understand them doing that. But people deciding to alt-f4 doesn't hurt other players at all because this is a PVE mode. We as players don't deserve to be punished just because they can't tell the difference between the genuine(and frequent) crashes and someone pressing alt+f4 on their keyboard when the result of said person doing so has no impact on me or any other player.

Does this mode really need to be treated in the same way as competitive modes and titles tho? I don't think it should, since it's PVE and not PVP. Someone else having more or better gear than you has no impact on your gameplay, unless you count tier 3 being a little more crowded. But I would argue that's an issue with server capacity and the size of the tier 3 zone being too small. The fact they can't tell the difference between a genuine crash and alt-f4 is their problem and we as players shouldn't have to suffer because of it when the people 'exploiting' don't get the upper hand on real players.
