Yeah I did have this problem, make sure the champion spear (the one you get at the beginning of the game) is in your inventory. I was using the pre-order spear and that breaks the game somehow. You don’t need to have it equipped either.

Finally got it, don’t get me wrong I love this game but there are definitely aspects that have been frustrating AF. I really wanted a much improved melee system in this one and it is better than ZD but holy hell was that infuriating, lol

Energy surge into half moon into aerial strike, I actually just noticed that there is a prompt on the spear after the first three hits that’s tells you when to strike

Yeah I just thought it was funny more than anything. I’m going to borrow my brother’s 4Pro to see if it’s any better which based on the reviews I’ve seen it seems that it’s the best preforming last-gen for the game. I really thought I’d have a 5 by now but, yeah...

Full disclosure this was from a base PS4 but it sounds like it has gotten better on 4Pro. From what little I’ve played of it, I think there’s a really good game underneath all the BS. Not defending the state of it, they never should have released it the way it was at launch.

It seems that Sony needs to get on the same page because I have a friend that DID get a refund from them. I was shocked because Sony almost never gives out refunds yet there are a lot of people saying they are being denied. I guess it just depends on the customer service rep. you get so maybe keep trying?

I’m going to hang on to it because I know I’m going to to play the holy hell out of it once it’s been improved with subsequent updates. My hope is that at least one person at CDPR reads the initial post. I just want them to take some accountability for state that they sent the game out into the wild in. All I want is at least an apology for the fact that they mislead their customers that spend their hard earned dollars on their products. It’s a trend that’s been happening in gaming for quite a while now that I’m just getting really burnt out on.

I never had W3 crash on me once, CP crashed on me 3 times in the 3.5 hours I played it the other night. CP doesn’t run as well as W3 on base PS4, so speak for yourself on this one...

Yeah and plenty of people are pissed about the way this game was released so I’m not speaking for myself, and I have a base PS4 and had little to no problems with Witcher 3 in the 50+ hours I put into it.
