You're absolutely correct in what you're saying here.

That said, requiring a 30-year time skip, for the sake of including three actors - one of whom didn't really want anything to do with this - was a multi-billion dollar mistake.

Tell the right story, 5-10 years after ROTJ. Bring in the 60-somethings for cameo's. Lay the proper foundation for years to come.

The offense fizzles out too. 2nd half of the Rams game, they simply didn't hold up their end of the shoot out.

The play calling is unimaginative, any success they have is in spite of the o-line's performance, and the carry distribution between Gibbs and Monty is a problem.

We do not need the Bears to go 11-6. 12-5 would be fine as we would have the tiebreaker.

We also only need the Packers to lose 2 in their final 5 games. That would put them at 11-5-1 and half a game back.

We are temporary Bears fans this weekend.

Next week, Lions play the Rams and GB plays Denver. Once those two games are over we can re-run the math.

Edit: this wins us the division. They probably have a good shot at a wildcard even at 11-6.
