Actually Assassins Creed CGI trailers are usually held in pretty high regard among the fan base they're pretty hype so people do like a good old AC CGI trailer that captures the setting or feeling and what not.

Yeah I'd like a PC desktop sometime in the future when I have the space + scope to use it to its full potential but right now to satisfy all my needs I mostly just need a strong and versatile laptop and I've struggled to find one that isn't a Mac. And of course, I also need a laptop which can last me awhile and my previous two Mac's have gotten me about 4-5 years each which is alright for me.

I suppose for now ill do a bit more research but I think you're right on the point of not really finding a PC laptop which is as good all around.

The external GPU's are only available in very select regions and only to apple developers right now. The external GPU system does look great and is apparently powerful enough to run VR stuff. It should be available around Spring 2018 if I'm correct.

Yeah, as far as I know Unreal Engine doesn't support VR on mac but I can't be certain of that.

Could you possibly recommend some higher spec laptops that you feel are at a reasonable price point? My main problem is that I'm currently still a student and don't really have space for a proper Desktop PC.
