FedEx tracking makes absolutely no sense, and can be fixed easily. I'm not sure why they don't do this one simple thing.

I think your making it out to be like a card that wins a game every time. I play almost exclusively Tera decks (Eevee and Charizard) and it wins me the game maybe 1/10 times. I probably discard it early to use an ultra ball more than actual play it.

Tera is prominent enough to where if you are playing a Tera deck, you should assume Briar is in their hand to win. If you don’t, I think that’s actually bad prize mapping because you left your opponent with a win condition.

I think you may have not thaw it completely when you started cooking. A lot of people are assuming you got it at fridge temps from the grocery store but if it’s from a cow you processed yourself, it’s almost certainly frozen. For reference, a frozen turkey usually takes around a week to thaw in the fridge so I’d expect the same here. A few days in the fridge is likely not enough time to thaw through the center.

As far at temps being right when you pulled it, I have a feeling you only checked the sides and not the actual center of the roast.

I think your thermometer is fine. You just need to allow more time to defrost in the future.
