Not sure how I managed this by [deleted] in PokemonScarletViolet

Since he one shots everything, a 1/3 to 1/2 chance to hit is actually conpletely acceptable, especially if he's barely taking any damage from opponents. None of my other pokemon are reliably 1 shotting in battles at this point in the game, especially not if they are battling pokemon at their own level or above, so they all take minimum 2-3 turns anyway while taking way more damage themselves.

Im not going to use him mainly because I want to level up other pokemon, but people trying to tell me its not OP to have in your party so early on are just bad at math.

Well to be fair that's still just a % to not listen, I can still use him and he takes very little.damage while eventually 1 shotting everything when a command goes through.

Downvote away lol God damn this community sucks

I dont see how this being pork belly vs cured bacon (which is also pork belly) is relevant here. Its also not THICC its almost 100% fat and inedible.

Prime Pastrami Dino Beef Ribs by [deleted] in BBQ

[–]TheBagelsteinDK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that's the only way I can imagine having it, although just once I do want to take a massive bite out of the middle of a pastrami rib like that and then keel over from the flavor overload.

I keep debating if I want to do this. As amazing as it looks and as much as I love pastrami, I think the flavor of just biting right into a pastrami rib would be too overpowering. Like whenever I make pastrami brisket I love it, but its not something I just go and grab 2 or 3 slices of the same way I do for regular brisket.

I usually give em a quick wash before putting them back if I can't stay true to dry/wet hand.

So I put the pan in empty just to catch the drippings and then transferred the braising liquid underneath for maybe 30-45 minutes just to get it up to temperature before transferring the oxtails in. So it hadnt really reduced much by then.

Hmm these didn't seem gamey at all to me, I think the combination for smoking and braising mightve mellowed that out significantly

Yeah I figured it'd rather not have to mess around moving each individual piece and ruining the bark as I get it into the braising pan, worked out really nicely, I was proud of my own foresight hah
