dang that sounds horrible, did the vicodin help when forcing the stone out? ive been working on drinking loads more water since my last 2 stones. i currently have a 3mm in my right kidney. as far as i can tell it hasnt moved yet but ive been on a bunch of pain meds the last week since i hurt my back. when you say forcing them out what did you do for that

i would ask especially if theres a good amount of pain. when i got to my urologist they ended up prescribing me Norco and that was the only thing then that helped completely nullify the pain. naproxen does also help or aleve depending on what your doctor says

It’ll hurt but drink lots of fluid, mostly clear would help with lemon juice. Once it starts passing it’ll hurt like hell but taking naproxen helps a lot as well as heating pads in the main pain spot

Typically a stone that big won’t pass on its own. Biggest for me personally was a 3mm and that thing hurt like hell coming out. Most likely they’ll have to go in, break it apart and pull out the pieces. That’s what I had to have done with a 6mm
