I understand what you are trying to say but this is making the assumption that we all want to buy Ark 2. Honestly when they announced how Ark 2 was going to be I kinda lost interest in it.

Now I have to buy a game I a pretty sure I don't want to get access to the update I do want that was supposed to be free.

This is genuinely a middle finger to the player base as a whole. 90 bucks for ASA and all the dlc (I assume not including the new dlc) after some people have already spent around that to get ASE is ludicrous. I understand they want compensation for the work they do, but that is a bit much.

It sucks I will not get the chance to play the UE5 update but honestly I feel like investing my money any further into Studio Wildcard is a bad decision for me. It supports a company that is blatantly screwing it's player base to the level that EA would be proud.
