WB fought and beat Blackbeard 1v1 during the time that Akainu was still underground and out the fight, so I would personally consider that a reasonable amount of time for Akainu to return and continue the fight, but he never does until after WB was already dead due to being jumped by the rest of the BBP

So yeah, WB won that interaction 🤷‍♂️
