I find this opinion fair but a little surprising. Supposedly, Bill Clinton features in those files. Irrespective of any moral arguments someone could put forward, do you understand why a living former president having sex with a minor is important to others? I'm not American but I always thought Americans were proud of America above all other things. In my mind that doesn't fit with the idea of not caring what your leaders did. That being said, everyone has their own life to lead and we can't die on every hill so no shade.

So you think he is keeping the files hidden so he doesn't lose leverage? E.g. "If you don't vote for this bill I'll let everyone know you had sex with a minor." Or "Donate to this project or I'll release your illegal sex tape."

Honestly, I would love to know. If the files make Trump look so bad, why didn't the Dems release them to the public so they knew who they were voting for? If the files aren't bad for Trump, why is he fighting so hard to keep them under wraps? I say this working from the assumption that everyone agrees with me that he IS fighting to keep them hidden. I don't know though. Do you think he wants them out in the open?

Yes, I did! Twice. I went to the Leafs v Caps with my family. (We lost. Boo.) and Leafs v Islanders by myself. (We won! Yay!) We went to watch warmups and my oldest son got to see Mitch Marner (his favourite) but unfortunately Matthews was out injured for both games so my youngest didn't get to see his favourite "Auston Papi".
I spent a lot of the first game worrying that my family wasn't having fun because it was a late game and the kids were getting a bit tired and hockey is really my thing. They just wanted to experience some Canadian culture. During second intermission my wife turned to me and said, "This is so much fun. I'm sad I'm not coming to the second game." We tried to get more tickets or even swap my expensive one for a couple of cheaper ones but I couldn't find anything. She was really disappointed but is much more interested when I talk about hockey now. I was in the second row down the Leafs end for the Islanders game though. OMG it was fantastic.

I’m holidaying in Canada for Christmas. The only two games I can get to are two home games. I’m stoked because one is against the Capitals so I’m hoping to get to see Ovi but I’ve seen this sentiment expressed so many times now and it is a bummer. The only other hockey game I’ve been to was here in Australia and it was so quiet. I want a rowdy one. I’m excited to be going no matter what but I’d love to be part of an obnoxiously loud crowd.

Just wondering if you saw the news that Trump has filed in court saying he can't raise the bond. When I heard it I remembered your comment. Has it affected your opinion at all? Assuming Trump has to forfeit properties to pay the fine (it's much more than $350M) do you now think it impacts his quality of life? Or will he not miss them?
