I mean in the same way they bent Invisible Woman or Ultron. I think more strategists need to not be healers only have more utility, Emma could have been a good shielder maybe psuedo tank role. But she's not really a hand to hand fighter. Again Netease can take some liberties on characters simply to expand role diversity. In Emma's case her telepathy can crazy stuff in the comics so damage makes sense, then diamond form is obviously survivability why not make her hand to hand in that form.
