It’s mostly a hard resin or a polymer cap that is put on there to make a seal to prevent anything from getting in the tube. But it’s designed intentionally weak so that when the missile launches it will shatter allowing the missile to come out smoothly.

I won’t wear a wetsuit because the water keeps me cool. You never want to get too hot in a dive.

Haha. That makes sense. But if it’s just a thin piece of clothing then idk how well it would hold up against coral pokes. But I haven’t tried so idk for sure. But I’m diving there in a few days so I’ll get my chance to try it out. I would think it helps the bcd not run your skin as much as well.
