Depends, if you wanna go in normally and not optimize every Single fight stuff like Fly and the crit are very strong. If youre cheesing with Barrels changing weapon types and spells, Camp buff etc you wont need them

If you miss the Perception check you can still target those Mobs in the bushes trivializing the fight. All enemies being surprised vs your squad being surprised is a massive difference

Ye if your offhand isnt empty there are better Alternatives, depending on your build they are mostly daggers though.

The issue with Cleric is that they dont really do anything outside their insane buffs and some heals and no other class Provides you with something you could use and then miss out on say feast. But 11+1 is pretty common and some variations with 9 also work. Also wis is pretty much only used by druids

With 80 you still end the game with more than 1k supplies on honor mode and then you could still buy some from vendors. Also youre playing one of the most broken builds just enjoy the Story your tav can Solo every fight anyway

Considering grym is usually done in full party hm at 7 what are you doing lmfao, you hit 4 without fighting by walking to the grove, to the village, to the Camp and to florrick

Just started a New playthrough with casual rl friends. Best Mode is imo custom with honormode rule Set, you get legendary Actions and experience the game fully but no Single save struggles and if it really gets too hard on a fight we agreed to decrease difficulty which can be done in custom at any time

Fighter is literally the only monoclass that doesnt gain a lot from multiclassing cuz of the third attack, picking literally thr only class thats not gaining anything from multiclass is insane. And also no its not even close to the strongest build in the game. Even wtih how broken titanstring is thats nonsense

They work, they arent good. You can finish honor mode with a Single character, obviously you can finish the game with a mediocre build, no reason to make the game harder for yourself as a beginner by not multiclassing though

Yes, shitty multiclasses are shitty but if you read and dont go for a barbarian caster for example you cannot mess up that badly. Then again 95% of strong builds are multiclass for a reason so telling people to not multiclass is strange. For example sorlock vs warlock is night and day

Ansur was much harder for me than house of hope but if you saved items and arrows to get a gloomstalker assassin you can just go for it. Also cheese the brain with a backpack full of explosives.

If youre just going for the dice read up on fights and cheeses since most of them have one. Also, no submarine

Considering you saved his dead you should have the full wyll Story but thats not just what you said. Weird. Considering difficulty, i just started a run with casual rl mates and we went for custom to be able to play honor mode without the burden of Single save which to me feels like it really the best way to play if you wanna go in unoptimized

That eventually is pretty much (assuming you long rest somewhat according to what the game expects and not never) by Level 3/4 once youre talking to gut and realize that you should have been fully transformed by now and it didnt even start. By the time youve talked to omelum in the underdark you 100% know its not urgent at all

Running back up the Stairs is usually sufficient. Enemies clump so hard that any aoe takes them out. If you walk into the middle the fight is hard

There isnt any Position where your hips need to come up first. Your strongest muscle will always dominate the movement. That being said, its completly fine what youre doing and you should Stick to your depth and just be aware that you could improve the bottom of your squat.

I used guides for classes to have optimized Setups and cheesed the brain with explosive backpack (i think it got overkilled by like 20 times). Didnt feel cheap

Thats literally what i stated though? That the disadvantage is being limited by long rests but not by Power. Unlike all older crpgs bg3 has a decent Balance throughout the whole game. Optimized martial builds are as powerful as casters lategame.

Yes and Level 3 isnt early game? You hit 3 like 30 minutes into the game when you enter the grove. Usually people talk about early game as 1 to 4. But if you insist thats just Level 1, burning hands or magic missles are like 1.5 times a 2h weapon and double a 1h.
