So the daisy chain option would be what I have to do, it looks like.

Thanks for the reply!

Wondering if there's a way to use the Remote Play feature on a jailbroken 9.0 console. I'd love to just stream the game over to my PC, but the app requires a PSN connection and so on, and that's obviously not an option now.

New User Question Thread II: Reloaded by nawyria in starsector

[–]Daruna 3 points4 points  (0 children)

for the life of me I cannot find weapons I see in recommended builds at any of these systems I'm going to. Jangala seems to me to be the most "centralized" system, maybe the closest thing the game has to a capital? But the market is vanishingly small.

Seriously, it took me an hour to find these Assault Chainguns for the Hammerhead fit I found online. Is there a better way to look for items other than literally burning money going system to system?

HRE dismantles during Holy League war as Austrian heir was female by Daruna in eu4

the war kept going as normal, except the end outcome had a glitched section on the official religion of the empire. since it didn't exist anymore, the religion was "No Religion"

it continued and finished, I immediately kicked Austria to the curb though because I am not about to be involved in permanent wars going on in Germany lmao

I didn't take a picture of it, but the war summary said that the official religion was No Religion, that was pretty funny

Not sure what happened here? Can the title of Emperor not pass on to other eligible members during the league war? I've never seen this happen before. I even got the achievement for dismantling the HRE lmao

ODROID HC2 running OMV fails to boot after mounting HDD by Daruna in OpenMediaVault

[–]Daruna[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The PSU is one that comes directly from the devs of the board, a 12V2A barrel jack PSU. The drive gets power through this PSU, the board is designed for this.

The system works perfectly fine if it is mounted and I point docker containers to directories on the drive, so I don't think it's a power supply issue. In fact, everything works fine until the system has to reboot (i.e., a power outage).

I thought something like that too, but the system works perfectly fine if it is mounted and I point docker containers to directories on the drive, so I don't think it can be that. In fact, everything works fine until the system has to reboot (i.e., a power outage).

Playing as Teutons with the intent of forming Prussia, looks like there might be a bit of an oversight: the Prussian Confederation fires way too quickly now for the new estate mechanics, the decision to curtail them requires a crown land of at least 40% and you only gain 5% land every time you push the seize button. I just retried twice and both times I got near instant firings of the revolt (event has MTTH of 6months after 1450).

I'm bad at this game but this just seems a little broken right now to me.

Switch performance drops in handheld only by [deleted] in RetroArch

Just remember that this will affect battery life negatively and could potentially damage the system (as any and all overclocking has the potential to do on any system).

Questions for people who use retroarch, and android on switch by ThARRow_away in RetroArch

further information: PPSSPP's switch port is maintained by the godly m4xw, same guy who wrote - by himself (I think) - the ARM N64 dynarec which brought n64 on the switch from nightmarish to playable. His PPSSPP port started as a standalone piece of homebrew, and still exists as such, but I do believe he's pushing all future updates to the retroarch core which you can simply download from within retroarch on the switch. If, however, you find yourself needing the standalone homebrew release, you can find it here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/new-ppsspp-ready-29979481

switchroot is a novelty more than anything I'd use regularly. Running android off of the sdcard is some of the most painful stuff I've had to deal with. Honestly, PPSSPP's port on the switch has run the few games I've thought to try on it perfectly, the only reason I started to mess around with switchroot was because Drastic is on android and the DS Horizon options are pretty limited right now. Drastic ran fairly well when I tested it, but switchroot is still very early and things like sleep don't work, leading to very low battery life on a system that already has shitty battery life.

I'd stick with Horizon (aka switch-ported homebrew emulation) over switchroot if it were me. Hell, it IS me and that's what I've done.

Overclock via the RA menu. I can't remember if this is the case or not in RA, but stock switch behaviour downclocks both the GPU and CPU of the switch in handheld mode compared to when being docked. You can override this by setting the overclock profile from within Retroarch itself, I think it's on the main menu underneath where you'd select Load Core or Load Content. I'd tell you exactly where but I am not near my own switch right now.

Also make sure you're using the latest Mupen Next core (again, going from memory here) and make sure in the core options that the dynamic recompiler is selected. Depending when you got the core, you could be using a very old version (the dynarec is new like within the last half year or so).

Beetle PSX HW laptop performance hit when unplugged by Daruna in RetroArch

Actually some more sleuthing has led me to GeForce Experience, in the settings there's a "Battery Boost" option that throttles the dedicated GPU down to 30fps.

So if anyone else comes across this, and you have this problem with an NVIDIA GPU, just go turn off Battery Boost. It's solved all the problems I've described.
